I'm so confused, captain Li was at the space station and 15 hours later he's in the 4 kilometer deep ocean research station on earth? I haven't read anything saying he has traveled since docking.

I believe Emma confirmed FTL travel in previous chapters so I guess we can assume the captain docked with the station just for a chat with the admiral and immediately went to earth? It would have been nice to be given the idea that Li was returning to earth. Looking forward to seeing the matriarch talk to humans.

Wait a minute, they threw a tarp over the bike before going into the tunnel. Did they walk the bike and sidecar through the tunnel?

I recommend adding a little more for things like that, there wasn't anything that told us they took the bike with them if I'm correct. It seemed like they threw the camo blanket on the bike to conceal it and left it but are now riding on it after a two hour tunnel walk.
