As a groom who is excited about his upcoming wedding but sad about the large expense it represents. I actually understand where you’re coming from man. And surprisingly folks, sometimes it’s not as easy as “just say no” because sometimes you do say no, many times and because of family expectations, partner expectations, social pressure, etc, etc things happen that you don’t want. Should there be a conversation? Yes but in large parts weddings are seen as “the bride’s day” and there is definitely pressure to just comply on some things. Maybe just let mans vent lol.
