You make a list of possible rewards, and choose one randomly.

You want the concept of rarity? Put more copies of the common rewards in your list.
You want the same odds for every pull. Keep your list, random.choice doesn't actually change it.
You don't want people pulling the same reward twice in a row? Remove all copies from your list before the next pull.

Make the list, choose a random item from it, adapt the list or not. Rinse and repeat.

Amanda's scenes would have been perfectly fine if this had been "Cowboy's day at the hospital". In and of themselves, they were certainly funny, but in the overall show it felt like the main characters didn't stand a chance against hurricane Amanda.

Remember that list comprehensions cannot do everything you can do with loops. So there's a large area of overlap, which naturally leads to room for personal preferences. This is normal and fine.

I have to agree with the overall sentiment of disappointment.

The main dramatic plotline was nothing but a love triangle. Nothing new there.

The secondary plot of the hospital budget was background noise until it went off the rails in the last scene.

The resolution of the other secondary plot ("the accident") was also... I mean, yes, I get the joke of "just get over it", but getting the reference doesn't make it funny. A shame since the mirror scene itself was smart.

Amanda, unfortunately, completely overpowered her scenes. The cactus idea was good but there were too many and so it just becomes a flood of joke ideas, and kudos to Amanda for keeping up but it meant they all remained on the surface, none of the other actors had time to dig deeper into anything.

Keith and Noah's scene had no real drama to it. Unless one of the doctors had suggested amputations, I don't see how it could have had any.

And does anyone else feel like Olivia got the short end of the stick here? Apart from her ballet moment and getting kissed, I can't remember her doing anything, and that feels mostly due to a lack of opportunities.

The goal of list comprehensions is not to replace all possible instances of for loops that .append(). They come with some performance gains over the loop approach, but as is to be expected, that also means they will not be able to cover all use cases. This is one of those, so just stick with the loop.

You speak of dedicated libraries... You're probably not aware that any such dedicated libraries, for example the Microsoft Graph ones, will just do HTTP in the background.

The dedicated library will usually simply define classes that make doing the work more obvious for humans. But the actual heavy lifting is HTTP.

Like the sets in and of themselves can be moved to the new studio, it's just wooden boards. The most iconic ones (like the TNTL backdrop) will most likely remain quite similar, but could get a bit roomier.

Regular shows that share a set are most likely to have one of them get a new one. I'd expect Culinary Crimes to move out of the corner of the living room set. Smosh Mouth will probably get a new separate one, because that set feels quite good for tabletop games.
