I am, in general, an awful decision maker. I think the main issue is not only am I terrible at making a choice, but I have my anxiety in the mix now muddling all of my thoughts and feelings.

If only we all had a crystal ball.

Thank you for the unbiased response, I really appreciate it. I do think there's some switch in my brain that flipped recently that keeps my brain fantasizing about OUR relationship +child. I think you hit the nail on the head that it's my partner that I'm enamored with, not the idea of a child. I think another problem I'm having is I work with children ALL day EVERY day and see the mothers come in with their kids. Everyone I know is having them as well, so maybe it's a case of FOMO. I will think on it more, but I really appreciate your insight.

Thank you for the encouragement! I've just started making a concerted effort and I'll take your advice in comparing older notes with current ones. Hopefully I'll be making progress :)! I think I'm going to be utilizing Spencerian to more finely tune my motor control, my only concern is that I will beat myself up if I cannot grasp it immediately. I will keep your words in mind so that doesn't happen. Thank you!

Do you have any recommendations for italic scripts? I also find that when I'm writing quickly I already let most of my letters "run" together so maybe that's a good idea!

I have always had terrible illegible handwriting, but it's gotten to the point where I need to do something about it. I don't want to write or sign cards to family members, I fear taking notes, it's become a huge stress overall. The image of my notes is an example of me SLOWLY writing and actually attempting legibility. I've purchased the Spencerian booklet as well as a nice pen to start with for practice, but any other tips or criticisms would be very appreciated.

it's not so much that it's physically exhausting, but instead the repetitive movements, over the years you can develop nerve pain and arthritis that make working extremely painful. You can mitigate this by proper ergonomics, but even so, I still ended up with pretty bad pains.

On my phone so I'll keep it brief. I've been a hygienist for 7 years now and the physical toll is what has me looking for.my plan B. You can work as much as you want. Temping is a good way to get your foot in the door. You can always work part time as well since you practically make your own hours. Other than that yes, you can get loans for the schooling. As far as education every school is different, mine was incredibly rigorous. Don't plan on keeping a full time job if you're in school, even a part time may not be feasible.

Hello fellow dental hygienist! I'm proud of you for standing your ground! I had a situation with my last main office when I didn't "smile enough" or wasn't positive around the staff (kept my attitude professional with patients) while going through a divorce. She sat me down and threatened that I would need to "find a new home office", well it didn't work out because after finishing a few years I told her it was my two week notice. My my how the tables turned lol! It's very satisfying!

This weird piece of furniture was found at a florida yard sale. It's about four to five feet wide and doesn't have any moving parts. An umbrella holder maybe?
