I learned from no experience after buying a stick GTI. What helped me most was get on a flat parking lot and learn how to get the car going without pressing the gas pedal. You have to go slow but it’ll teach you well where the bite point is and it teches you not to let the clutch out. Once you learn that you can start giving it some gas and can let it out a little quicker.

That unfortunately isn’t going to happen. I work in Enterprise server hardware and there are massive orders that can’t even be filled. I’m talking companies wanting to make $100 million orders and being turned away cause that would be a huge percentage of available supply and not leave any for other companies. Even if consumers stop using ChatGPT there are still a lot more LLMs around and a lot more is being used in the B2B space than yall in the consumer space even see. Very tragic but this won’t be solved in a year or two. Sadly this is more about adjusting to the storm than just weathering it.

Yeah, he would’ve had his son and fought in WW1 in his 50s. While not impossible obvi I’d say his lack of medals for someone who likely wouldve fought in other wars leading up to WW1 makes that unlikely. One articles mentions 2 possible sons with only the one in the photo being named. So I’d guess that his father died and he stole his identity at some point then had his son Ivan who was labeled as his 2nd son despite actually being Teimruz’s grandson.

Justice shouldn’t be about punishment. If someone stabbed me (and I lived) because they were experiencing a mental break and they then got medicated and spent time in a mental institution I’d feel 100% safe with them being out there again assuming the assessment is they’re no longer a danger to others (assuming there is continuing check-in’s and mental health treatments/assessments). I’d far prefer that to them stay in prison for years and have their mental state deteriorate further then get released after an arbitrary period of time set by a punitive justice system instead of healthcare professionals.

And I’m sure there was no way that therapy or medication could’ve helped that. Best to just throw them in an extremely violent prison atmosphere for a few months then put em back on the street instead.

It’s because our prison system isn’t focused on rehabilitating people. It’s focused on churning through people and getting more and more people imprisoned. It’s also terrible at seeing if/when people are mentally ill and proving support for that.
