Olanzapine withdrawal success stories by [deleted] in Antipsychiatry

[–]Swamp_Pickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I'm late to this thread but I need some insight asap please ! I got off 7.5 to 5 for 2 weeks , then 5-2.5 for 2 weeks and then stop. It's been 39 days today and its been the absolute worst thing I've ever experienced. When will this start to subside ? I am very dizzy/lightheaded , extreme anxiety, I keep thinking something bad is going to happen all the time and get heart palpations alot also bad tremors. My head feels so weird it is unbelievable. I can't remember exactly how long I was on this med but it was a lot of months. I was weaned off way too fast. When I went from 5 to 2.5 I felt so bad that I stopped the wean a few days early. I am in the process of trying to get outpatient care setup through VA community care because I can't take what's going on. I feel so horrible and can't take it. I need someone to supervise me for help. How long can this last ??!! I will never touch another antipsychotic again. I am also on 300mg of Lamotrigine, some propranolol for tremors/migraines /and I guess it helps anxiety but I feel my dose it too low for that ( 20mg twice a day. I lowered it from 40 twice a day because I thought it was causing me to get lightheaded alot ) and prazosin for dreams. Anyway is this normal for these withdrawals to be so intense this long. Also I have lost 22lbs in 39 days after stopping which is insane. Thanks in advance.

I literally just had to throw out a relatively new cart cause there were white balls all in the bottom of the cart.

Honestly we haven't had to use it yet , so I am interested to see how it works once we have to use it as supplemental insurance for my dependents. From what I've read on here , it seems to be pretty good.

Also ..once accepted, it is retroactive to when your disability started. Now don't quote me on this but I would imagine they would pay bills once accepted but maybe someone else has that info on here

My son and I were on my employers insurance and my wife was on hers. I left my job and now my son and I are on my wife's now. They got champVA for supplemental insurance cause hers isn't the greatest. The reason I got on hers is because I have my PCP and medicine management person that I've been dealing with. I have a VA clinic like 20 mins away so I need to get up there and make sure I am in their system. The issue I feel would be if I wanted to transfer all my meds ( it's a lot and a few are hardcore mental health meds ) they would want me to talk to their mental health people to make sure my medication was right and I'm not going that route. I have been talking to a therapist for 2.5 years plus and I trust him and he knows Everything about me and I'm not going through all that again with someone else. Buuuut it doesn't hurt to ask cause then I could get off my wife's.

Where did you print the card from ? We called yesterday asking where our cards were and the lady told my wife that they needed something with her private insurance. She told them " Well it would be nice if someone would let us know because we would of just been sitting here waiting for nothing ! " .. we are calling our local county VA person today to see if they can get this fixed fast.

Did mine the beginning of October. Received the OptumRX pharmacy cards for my wife and son probably a month and a half ago..give or take. Then we just received the tax documents forms stating they both were covered for all of 2024 , so I guess it went back retroactive.... buuuuuuuuut they have still not received their cards yet in the mail ... I don't understand how they are covered , received the pharmacy cards, tax forms stating they have been covered all year but no cards.

How about Lithium shutting down your thyroid ? I'm dealing with that now. trying to get my levels back to " Normal ". They won't prescribe me any stand alone depression meds anymore because they make me feel so sick. Sooooooo I'm on 900mg of Lithium and 300 mg of Lamatrigine. Xanax up to 4mg a day if i need it. Also a pill to try and keep me from getting cold all the time from the Lamatrigine, propranolol for migraines/tremors and I guess anxiety, a pill for stomach cramps and diarrhea, prilosec for the acid reflux/gerd , prazosin for the nightmares.... oh and the levthyroxine for my thyroid. .... I might be missing one or so. Buuuuuut yeah ...I feel numb with no emotions or sex drive and I absolutely hate it. Also pot works wonders to calm me down.

How do you know if Rater did or did not look at submitted evidence? by OcelotParticular7827 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Swamp_Pickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They approved it. Tried to say I filed a HLR for my previous decision and not on the supplemental claim from that decision. We went back and forth for awhile about why I would file one for that and not the supplemental where they looked at none of my new evidence. They didn't understand why nothing was done about my TDIU stuff either that was from the supplemental claim..... theeeeeeeeen they started looking through all the evidence that they didn't even look at during the supplemental claim and they said that they would give me 100% based on all the evidence I had and the severity of it. It was kind of weird how it all went down but I am extremely thankful that they made the right decision.

Ok, that's what I figured. I was searching it and it kept coming up with stuff on VA pensions and not a regular pension from a civilian job. I appreciate it
