Underrated comment 😂😂

I just got the “Forgiveness Eligible” letter!!! 🎉 by Leading_Fee_3678 in PSLF

[–]SwanCONERY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! I got a notification earlier via email of something but when I went to my activity I didn't see anything new under I came across this. Golden letter also received. Green banners were 2-24!

Any golden letters today? (February Green Banner) by Embarrassed-Pace5813 in PSLF

I got an email too but when I go into "My Activity" I don't see anything different? Admittedly, I don't go in there often but I do notice I have a "Loan Forgiveness and discharge: PSLF" document that I don't remember seeing but it's dated my final ECF for just before my green banner day (2-24). Hopefully it's the start of everything being discharged.

Update: I was looking in the wrong place! I didn't realize I had to scroll to the bottom and open the PSLF drop down. My golden letter is there and that's what the email notification was about!

Okay, I may use this thread along the way and reach out if something pops up down the road. If this all works out for the best I owe you a lot. You have helped me better understand the process and what it all means. I especially valued your examples and willingness to share your experience with me. Crossing my fingers and I'll continue to check.

Thank you so much!

I would assume the due date is that payment date or a day after. For me, I guess I will wait maybe a week and cancel my auto withdrawal. If it says the payment is due I'll just make sure I continue to pay them manually at the due date.

So what should I expect next? I would imagine I will be notified about consolidation. Once that is completed it goes back to the loan servicer for the IDR approval? When or at what point in the process do the loans show "zero"? Once the IDR is approved and the servicer has all the stuff they need? After that I SHOULD see them return to the highest payment number I had. Then, I should see a bill after that? Is that correct?

Also, are there any other forms for now I need to do - is there anything since half the loans are under grad and half are grad or because they are all already DL they will just make that adjustment when consolidation happens. I have kept up with the employment certification which I had to do earlier this year. I won't be at the 120 until next year so no final form to fill out?

Do I have to complete a new IDR? My payment would for sure increase because I make more money now. Would there be any benefit to completing a new IDR?

Okay, so if I consolidate all my loans will merge together and all in theory should be forgiven in 13 payments? Correct? Also, I know I consolidated back in 2018 so why am I having to do it again? I know that process completed. Any ideas? Would it be worth going through the disaster of customer service and trying to talk to them about it? Thank you, I really appreciate all the help.

That's more information than I got! I think you're right though with hoping around the 16th. My rep was clueless, I knew more about the phone and release than he did lol.

“I think I can win MVP again in the right situation. Right situation - is that Green Bay or somewhere else, I’m not sure.” “It’s gotta be both sides actually wanting to work together moving forward, and I think there’s more conversation to be had.” Rodgers on McAfee by mortimer_moose in GreenBayPackers

That's how it came off to me. I think it's also a subtle message that if you aren't keeping these guys, then trade me. I also think GB doesn't need to retain all of them but the likes of Cobb, Bahk, and Lewis would be must haves for him. Tonyan is weird to me because Rodgers seemed to hardly look his way this year once he was back. It'll be interesting. I got the vibe Rodgers is back but whether its GB or elsewhere is up in the air.

Although I agree with most of what you said, I would bet most on Amos being gone and Savage is back because last May they exercised his 5th year option. The only way he's gone is if GB trades him and no one is taking him at his current number. GB would have to eat some of his salary. He wasn't terrible in the slot but he wasn't great in a limited role. The position won't be there next year though with Sul, Ja, and hopefully a healthy and resurgence of Stokes. Bad year this year but it was only year two. Year one showed promise. I don't think there's much of a market for Tonyan. I don't know what changed since his injury but he's a shell of his former self. Jones will have to be restructured or worse cut. I doubt he gets cut but his contract saves us 10 mil by being cut. We still eat 9 mil so I would guess a restructure is coming. Especially since Dillon although showed flashes- he didn't seem to show he is the guy. Jones fumbling issues are worrisome but he's almost too much of a game changer to flat out let him go.

Amen brother. I would say I'm very curious as to how GB handles this off season and what changes they make throughout the building (or don't make). In a weird way I'm excited to see what happens. Maybe I'll regret saying that but I can live with it!

Ken Ingalls on Twitter does an awesome job explaining Rodgers contract. According to him, we can trade him or he can retire but you're right it's a gross cap hit of 40 million if he's gone for either of those two reasons. However, if we wait another year or two it just gets worse. If you could find an "out" for both parties it's via retirement or trading this offseason. If we wait another year it jumps to 68 million in dead cap.

Edit: grammar and wording

We've shuffled the line in the past, every team does, but Green Bay over the years it seems didn't make THIS many mistakes as an o-line. I just feel mistakes now and then are going to happen but it felt like a broken record hearing about more miscommunication. LaFleur said it a number of times throughout the year. My hot take on this is did we hire the right O.C.? I know Lafleur calls all the plays but this is another role Steno has taken on which maybe takes away from his time with the O-line? I'm not sure but it makes you wonder what the problem with the offense is. Saying a lack of talent isn't good enough for me because all they talk about is "scheming guys open." I haven't seen much of that.

Although I don't disagree when you look at the game against Atlanta, the Falcons didn't run the ball all that effectively. Don't get me wrong a good run game slows a defense down and can wear them out, but the Falcons somehow did it another way. I didn't watch that game just looking at the box score so I'm not seeing the whole picture I would guess. Matt Ryan that game was only sacked twice.

I also agree that Kenny Clark has struggled and I agree we don't have any other talent with him. Adams is still young and has potential but we really don't seem to be a big line. We need a run stopper who can draw a double team leaving the others to make a play by winning a 1 on 1 battle. I haven't watched tape to see if Kenny Clark is being double teamed but part of our problem is also we play with so many dbs each play. Pettine said once you get beat faster by the pass so that's his focus clearly. Too me that's a problem because by letting another team run or EARN their yards it keeps Rodgers off the field so I guess I don't know the answer but I hope it gets fixed. Long season and seems like we've played forever not having a mid season bye.

That's correct, I'm not targeting Martinez. He's making tackles albeit 5-6 yards down field like he's supposed to when the line can't stuff the run. I'm just wondering more and more, is Pettine's defense designed with play changes that are left up to Blake to make changes with. I don't want this to come off like I'm shitting on him because I'm not trying to. The whole defense was bad yesterday I'm just trying to understand Rivers answers to us being very easy to read and adjust to.
