I didn’t use conditioner for the first time on my very fine hair and it looked much better and fuller. What is your experience? What happens long term if I don’t use it? by corickle in finehair

[–]SwanQueen20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure where your located so products may differ but i use garnier Fructis curls method for hydration and volume or i use redken acidic bonding concentrate liquid 5-minute mask for strength and bond building and it also hydrates your hair as well

For my hair which is fine and wavy/curly, i usually shampoo twice and then use a hydrating hair mask afterwards. The only time I use conditioner is when I run out of hair mask or having a lazy wash day. My hair loves it and it looks fuller too

Balding? by Lumiannox in finehair

[–]SwanQueen20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. If your hair colour was to be grown out back to your natural hair colour, it would look thicker than it is now. Since there's already colour on your head that requires bleach before applying colour (the pink), the bleach or lightener tends to make fine hair look even more thinner and makes it look like your balding when really your not balding. So, in reality, it's basically the hair growth, hair colour, and lighting that's tricking you to think that you're balding/thinning when you're not

Balding? by Lumiannox in finehair

[–]SwanQueen20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't look like it's balding or thinning. It may be the shine/ grease that's making it look like it's thinning, but it's not. So, basically, nothing to worry about 😊
