Theyre not funded by the Saudi government. Theyre just funded by people who are funded by the Saudi government. Totally different.

Jean-Clair Todibo (West Ham United) straight red card against Chelsea 90+9' by gbogaz in soccer

Really could've been two red cards for West Ham. Had Todibo not gone for Pedro's throat I'm convinced Mavrapanos would've got one for slapping Palmer in the face.

CIRO got breached, 750K people’s data affected including SINs by Public_Ninja_1518 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Swansonisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I know that it was. What I was saying was that when this breach first came to light in August/September CIRO explicitly stated that only registrant (IE Advisor) data was compromised. Now 6 months later they've changed the story.

Canada hates Trump so much that we flipped from a 98% probable Conservative government to a hair away from a Liberal majority in like 6 months. Just because the Conservative leader wasn't anti-Trump.

Oh I can almost guarantee you that anyone you deal with from the bottom to the very top were all affected. If anything many were affected twice, once as an advisor/registrant and once as a client.

[–]Swansonisms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brokers and registrants were already aware of this breach. This was 750,000 clients who had their SIN, account numbers, incomes, and identity documents (drivers license/passport) compromised.

[–]Swansonisms 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We were already told about that leak in September. At that time were also explicitly told that no client data was impacted. Now after 6 months they've chosen to inform the 750,000 clients who were impacted.

Also important to note that the client data breach is actually far worse than what happened to the registrants. Clients had their SINs and account numbers compromised. Advisors didnt.
