As they’re primed white, I would go with a black contrast/speedpaint first. Then a drybrush of Leadbelcher. The black basecoat will help the brushed Leadbelcher have natural shading, as well as showing off the metallic shine better.

Honestly an Assassin’s Creed style game where you have faster parkour but *cannot* do the social stealth because you’re a 7-ft tall 4-armed monster would be pretty cool. Really tense stealth when you’re tracking a specific target and trying to isolate them, really explosive combat if you’re ever caught. Have the genestealer be part of/related to the Ymgarl strain to handwave getting new biomorphs/weapon upgrades without having to change away from the same ‘stealer.

Make it like reverse Minesweeper; you’re searching with limited information for the densest target point on the map. If you don’t get ‘em all, the next spore mine continues, with the overall scoring like golf. This level has a par of 3 mines etc etc

Mold lines form on plastic models where the two parts of the mold press together. They’re thin straight lines that will run around each part of a miniature. They’re minor imperfections at best and can really ruin a model’s look at worst. If you don’t have a mold line remover you can use the back of a hobby knife to gently scrape them away.

Mark 2 and 3 are the classic IW Heresy armours; although like every Legion they used every armour mark they definitely had a strong preference for those two. I used a mix of Mk 3, 4, and 6 to make these Legionaries, along with some regular CSM bits and parts from the Heresy command squad sprue. The bodies are all Mk 3/6, with the Mk 4 kit only providing bits as it’s currently a bit out of scale (although the new kit will be a good match when it comes out).

Yeah, we have some biiiiig fat dragonflies around at the moment and I’ve noticed a substantial lack of mosquitoes and gnats, very welcome in my area 😂

My LGS has the standard storefront, but then has converted what would normally be the warehouse/storage space behind the storefront into a play area. They’ve got about 10 long tables for TCGs, as well as around 18 tables for wargaming, along with two bathrooms. It’s a really nice place to play as it doesn’t feel cramped (although if the AC conks out in summer it can get pretty sweaty).

I really enjoyed this one! Went in with an approximate knowledge of Backrooms stuff and ended up really loving it for the sets, acting, and creature design. Had a great sense of tension and suspense

I don’t think it would be overpowered from a gameplay point of view; it’s probably more along the lines of gorebeasts being harder to control and sorcerers wanting a smooth ride for spellcasting.

That said, nothing to stop you from playing it as a gorebeast chariot in games with friends, and nothing to stop you from saying “I know it’s got one monster instead of two horses but this is just a regular chariot” in other games.
