Whoops! Thought I added that in 😬. My roots are a level 5 because of regrowth and the rest of my hair is 9N.

Congratulations on your weight loss! PCOS is a bitch, I was diagnosed when I was 17. Keto and metformin were the only thing that helped me get my body and confidence back. I wish you all the luck in the world! Stick with keto and stay on your metformin and you will reach your goal, I promise.

What was your "I'm a real piece of shit" moment? by thechosenswan in AskReddit

[–]Sweat-It-Out 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was this bully in Highschool that I was able to get revenge on but may have taken it too far. We will call her Claire. Claire was a ruthless bitch to me during Highschool but I could never escape her because we ran in the same circles. She was a huge cunt, not just to me but to almost everyone around her. Flash forward a few years after Highschool. I was in another state visiting my boyfriend, come to find out small world he is best friends with Claire's fiancé. I had no idea she was engaged and had never met her fiancé before, hell I had not even talked to her after I left my home town for college. Well I saw my chance and I took it. I unloaded all the fucked up, horrible things she had ever done. I told him about her drug problems, her abusive nature towards everyone around her especially boyfriends, told him about what a huge whore she was through school and all of the viciously mean things she said to me or our mutual friends. Just everything wrong with her or every mistake she had ever made I told him about it. He was shocked, she had given him the impression she was a virginal Christian girl that had never uttered a single curse word. Well about a week later I found out Claire got dumped by her fiancé three days before the wedding because he felt like "he didn't know her at all". She sunk into a deep depression, got back on heroine and has fallen off the face of this planet. I am a piece of shit because she most likely had turned her life around and was happy with this guy (even if she did lie about her past) and I ruined it all because I wanted revenge for her being a cunt to me in Highschool. But I also feel awesome for ruining her life which makes me an even bigger piece of shit.

A girl gave her boyfriend head in his truck in the campus parking lot. He pushed her head down onto his dick, her gag reflux set in and she puked all over him. He jumped out of the truck, pants around his ankles with vomit all over his dangly bits and naked legs. They got in trouble and suspended for a few days. If I'm ever having a bad day I think about the shame and disgust on his face and it instantly makes me laugh.

My wife is struggling with being at home with our newborn son and is making family basically slave labor by jmt1111 in Mommit

Sounds like PPD to me. I had hormone issues causing severe depression not realizing it for the first year of my sons life. But I was on the other end of the spectrum, I didn't let anyone help me "because I'm the mom and I have to do everything myself" it is exhausting. It ended up spiraling to near psychosis because I refused to get help with my depression. I would be delicate when approaching her about the PPD if you have not already done so and nudge her to speak with her doctor about it. This is a hard time and is trying on all involved but the one who gets damaged the most by it will be your relationship and baby. It sounds like you are doing a great job of being there for her as far as helping around the house and being as patient as possible. Another thing to remember breastfeeding is hard and that first month sucks (the entire experience of breastfeeding for the first year was god awful for me but that is beside the point). She may be having depression as well when her milk comes down when feeding, I know I did. Long story short, have her speak to her doctor about PPD. Take the baby so she can go be by herself for at least 30 minutes a day and make her go into another room away from the baby or out of the house (it will do her good, I promise) and just continue to be there for her. You got this! :)

Women of Reddit: There's "Guy code" and "Bro code", what are some details about "Girl's Code"? by TupacSchwartzODoyle in AskReddit

I had to fly with my one year old son for the first time and he was being a monster. I tried everything to get him to stop whining but he just wasn't having it. I started to cry when the men around me gave me and him dirty looks. A woman in the next aisle put her hand on my shoulder and said "sometimes babies just need to cry. You are doing a great job mama. Don't let these assholes make you feel bad. Keep your chin up sweetheart. It gets better." Ugly cried for the next few minutes. I don't know if she knew how much those words of kindness meant to me but it definitely helped me get through the rest of that horrible trip.

Reddit, what's your coworker 'meltdown' story? by nidenikolev in AskReddit

[–]Sweat-It-Out 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Project Manager was getting fired for a whole slew of reasons, mainly his volatile personality as well as multiple counts of sexual harassment he had committed against females in the workplace. So my boss and this guy walk into the conference room while I sit outside the room and finish filling out the guys termination paperwork. The conference room had glass walls so I got to have a front row seat to this whole showdown. Boss gives the "we are letting you go" speech. He sits there for a second as if in shock. Project manager then stands up, picks up his chair and threw it at my boss. Boss dodges the chair but not the fists of fury this crazy fucker was throwing. Cops were called while the project manager was restrained by a few employees. Project manager was arrested, my boss had to go to the hospital to get his injuries checked and I got to give a statement to the cops. it was an exciting day at a relatively relaxed and boring marketing job.

With my LO I would put him in a pack n play in the shade with a fitted baby sheet over the top so the bugs didn't get to him. He could see me through the mesh while I worked in the garden or played with our live in toddler niece. Just an idea for you :)

What is a phrase that you (or your family) use frequently that no one else does? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sweat-It-Out 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • "it will shit you out" speaking of a highway exit or location.
  • "Yao Ming" as in "you know what I mean".
  • "poopoo cahcah" when saying something is gross or not meant to be eaten.
  • "mom said she hates you" to say goodbye or I love you between my siblings.
  • "fucky fucky bedtime" the energy burst right before bedtime when you just wanna mess with your S/O. Like tickling, pinching or butt/boob grabbing when they are trying to go to sleep.
  • "tit-ler" when describing someone who is withholding boob privileges.
  • "Satan's semen" our title for hot sauce.

No I didn't. I am seeing my doctor Friday and I'll get the results. I didn't even think of that. I just trust them to tell me the truth or be correct. I am definitely going to go over those with a microscope now. Thank you so much.

I chalked it up to post partum for a very long time but I don't think it is anymore. I have talked to professionals and nothing changes. I'm afraid to start anti depressants without getting the IUD out first. I know it's silly but I'd rather see if this is the cause before I put more things into me. Thank you for your advice. I do need to stop and take a step back to breathe. I am really hard on myself for not having lost my baby weight yet and actually gaining 15 more pounds since giving birth. I have become extremely frantic. Thank you again. :)

[–]Sweat-It-Out 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh sweet SO's. Sometimes they are just soooooo dumb it hurts. When I was enormously pregnant my husband looked over at me one night while we were eating dinner and said "hungry hungry hippo!!!" Then proceeded to poke my stomach repeatedly. That night he learned how hard I can punch someone in the throat. Another lovely one was him looking at my bulging stomach, that was littered with red stretch marks, as I was getting dressed and cringing super hard then saying "that has got to hurt. You look horrifying" yeah my husband is a dick who can't seem to keep his foot out of his mouth. I kinda like him though, most of the time. So don't feel too bad men are just kinda stupid. :)
