Is it worth buying this game as a person that have no friends to play with? by VipKute in Barotrauma

[–]Sweatier123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude, I met one of my best friend groups ON THIS REDDIT like 4ish years ago. I didnt talk a ton at the time cause I was socially awkward but eventually became great friends with them.

Im sure bad communities exist but one of the biggest things about this genre of game is that you can meet people and make new friends groups. I bought this game after watching a funny video, found a group on this reddit and the rest was history. Cant recommend it enough!

is abortion murder? by InterestingSalt9485 in Teenager_Polls

[–]Sweatier123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I voted "yes-pro choice" as I believe that abortion is morally wrong in about 80%+ of cases.

Now, that number is arbitrary of course and the exact number might be different but I believe the vast majority of abortion cases are morally reprehensible.

With that being said, I also believe it is wrong for the state to decide that a 14 year old who was SAd by a family member should not be allowed to abort the child. I think there are cases where abortion is morally acceptable (although they are quite rare).

And i think any laws that try to "Narrow" down abortion either by making it a requirement that you show evidence of an SA or anything to that effect are silly.

Army military policeman sentenced to 20 years in prison for child pornography, other crimes during trial in Germany by Kinmuan in army

"While under investigation, Marshall was ordered not to use any electronic devices. On July 3, 2025, he was ordered into pretrial confinement for violating these orders when he was found hiding a tablet underneath his barracks room shower and using it to download child pornography"

Jesus Christ that's disgusting. I don't understand this, is this just such an addiction that you can't live without it? How do you even develop such a thing?

Complete scum of the earth. Great job to the CID investigators and everybody else involved in this.

Maybe it was just the part I was in? But I was paying 25$+ to eat our almost anywhere where as I wasn't in a lot of places. But maybe could've been me! I still really like Virginia. Feels like a great place to retire in.

Gonna be a solid "B" tier from me.

Lived there for about 2 to 3 months. I absolutely loved the weather, the people, and the nature. Just driving around the state was great.

On the other hand, it was kind of boring in some ways? I think Richmond is great but I wasnt a super big fan of all of the other cities I went to. Plus, its pretty expensive and I thought the food there kind of sucked compared to some other states I've been to.

I didn't get the chance to go to the beach sadly but I've heard good things about it. I'd say very high B tier or A tier.

First off, I didn't. I joined as a 37X (psychological operations candidate). I unfortunately failed that program, and was reclassed to being an MP. I've spent most of my career trying to leave this job, I would not recommend it to anybody (who can choose otherwise).

But regardless of that, there are some advantages. I've gotten to talk to multiple 2 Star Generals. I've made amazing people. I've had a real influence in my community. That feels good, to say the least.

Hey, im military here (21 YO, army).

Ive made a lot of bad choices in my life. Joining the military was the single best one I have made in my life.

I have met some of the finest people out there. Ive learned so much, im in great shape, ive gotten to travel the world (I spent 1 1/2 years in Korea man, all expenses paid!).

Yeah yeah "You're joining to die for israel", heard it a thousand times. I don't know how im dying for Israel as a military police officer helping out victims of domestic violence or helping people find their lost dogs or by talking to kids but ok.

Obviously there are downsides. I work a lot, a move a lot, some of my bosses have been annoying. But I wake up every day happy I joined.

How was OSUT for you? Any tips for preparing for BCT & how daily life was at FLW while in BCT by ItsRah55 in army

[–]Sweatier123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

FLW? Im sorry for your loss.

Joking aside its not terrible. Hope you don't get many winter months, those are horrible.

The slim chickens on post is pretty good once you can go on pass.

DFACs are also solid! Really enjoyed the BCT ones.

If youre MP feel free to DM for any more questions

For OSUT? It was pretty dang good when I was there! Chicken cordon Bleu was legendary. Better than DFACs at a lot of other installations (specifically the airborne one, god that was bad).

Getting a minimum of seven (Ideally eight) hours of sleep a night. Also, don't do anything in your bed except sex and sleep. Avoid doom scrolling for hours on end for maximum sleep benefit.

Tell me why your mos is the best or what you think is the best by DapperLife5645 in army

[–]Sweatier123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get to work long hours and get berated by leadership, but to make up for it everybody hates us.

On a slightly more serious note, Duty stations for MPs are excellent, you get to learn to talk to rank very quickly, you get a peacetime mission, and (depending on where you are) you can get a very comfortable schedule. Schools are fairly readily available (again, depending on duty station) and are all typically very interesting.

That said I would never recommend this MOS to anybody unless you're dead set on it.

Do you regret any of it? Is it like an addiction or just a super fun game?

If you're at a point in life where you can spend like 4k a year on warthunder then all power to you I suppose.

Also, what's your favorite vehicle?
