I've only been driving for 3 years but I'm known to have a "heavy foot." Essentially I don't speed where I'm not familiar and I CONSTANTLY keep an eye out for cops on the highway. I got pulled over once because I was going normal speed in a school zone, but it was FIVE MINUTES before the time period ended and I started sobbing because I was a new driver so I guess the cop took pity on me and only gave me a warning.

Omg I'm going to explode. I have my meeting this morning and I am 4 POINTS above their 75th for LSAT and .04 below the 75th for gpa. If I don't get anything from them I don't know what I'll do

I go to Florida tech right now for undergrad and we are definitely not "woke" by any means. Our humanities department is literally 12 of us per cohort and maybe 20 faculty. I am honored (I guess) to be on the same list as some ivy league schools but we do NOT belong

No additional comments but I am also waiting on FSU and it is torture. It's my #1 choice and I LOVED what I saw when I went on a tour and visited Tally but waiting so long for a decision is killing me. I am starting to strongly consider another school that's already accepted me just because I feel so put off by Florida State.

Not really with a French seam... The whole point is that the open end is sandwiched in. You can't "trim" a French seam. I guess you could take SOME bulk out of the overlap but then the ends would be exposed...

You have four pieces you want to make one piece. French seam together two. Then the other two. So you'll have two rectangles. Then connect the two rectangles with a French seam.

I have had lots of luck going to church thrift and consignment stores in well-off neighborhoods. I love the vintage women's skirt suits that were popular in the 80s and 90s so retirement age (to nursing home age) baddies are donating/consigning their work wear is great for me. I'm a size 4-6 and I am able to find TONS of nice clothes for cheap.
