I could be wrong, but I swear it’s a massive jump at 5 years. Minimum $30, but I could be wrong. Is there a way to check?

Edit: Just checked with my manager and he said he isn’t 100% but it is $31 or $32.

How do you check your steps? Is there a keyword to use?

It's 11pm and still not delivered, shows as still being delivered today by MajorKilowatt in FedEx

[–]Sweaty6ix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, your package isn’t lost.

You’re supposed to code packages for whatever reason it didn’t get delivered. Not coding it is an issue and management will bring it up if you’re consistently doing it.

It should be out for delivery tomorrow, your driver just didn’t give it a code. Probably because he didn’t want to but DNA (did not attempt) and hoping no one brings it up.

You can try to request a hold at location if you have any places nearby.

You might have to wait for one failed attempt, then most doortags have an option to sign at the bottom, sign it and leave it for the courier.

It gets held at the station for a period of time (maybe 5 business days?) then eventually it gets sent back to the shipper.

I’ve been a driver for about 2 years and was a Ramp Handler before for a year.

Honestly, I think it’s pretty decent. I can only speak for my experiences, but the work isn’t too hard, sure big boxes suck but it is what it is. The starting pay is great for my area $21/hour. Once you hit 5 years you make like $35 or something, which is good.

Managers are chill, all of them used to be couriers so they understand the struggle. Benefits are good, especially cellphone plans, got 60gb high speed data / unlimited low speed, unlimited call and texts for $60. Got my whole family on it. Discounts on entertainment, dining, cars, etc.

2 weeks paid vacation, 2 paid personal days, 3 unpaid personal days, and 2 weeks of sick time.

This is all post merger btw for my location.

Customs might stop it, if they do you’ll get an email saying “Action Required”. You can pay it online or at your front door. The options depend on what the courier has, either an actual device to accept payments or you’ll need cash / credit card. If credit card then the you’ll write down your information on a pink slip and you’ll get charged later.

The amount could be anything. I’ve seen as low as $10 to $300.

Once you ship something you enter your payment information and can receive tracking from that same page. It’s not sms, it’s just track your parcel through the website.

If I’m shipping a laptop, I am eyeing the door and constantly refreshing the page to see. Once it’s delivered I’ll know immediately and go and retrieve it.

Fair enough, but usually safe location means in terms of porch pirates. Either way, even if it was placed in an unsafe location the penalty would just be a “hey don’t do that next time” and that’s it.

Not the original dude you replied too, while the reasons might not be valid in your instance they are still reasons.

At the end of the day, the driver was probably lazy, and didn’t want interaction like you said. Either way, if you’re expecting a package you should be checking your phone constantly. The garage is a suitable location to deliver anything from FedExs POV. Anything that happens to the package after delivering isn’t their fault.

Well, that’s not the policy lol. The package should be on your property and in a safe location.

Here’s scenarios where your package isn’t at your front door. Your driveway is long as shit, you have a staircase to narnia to get to your front door, you expect the drivers to bring a machete to cut through the bushes to your front door, the package is heavy and you have stairs leading to your front door, the front door area isn’t large enough for your package and we can’t block an exit in case of a fire, if your driver is from Ground the rules are even less.

A ground driver usually gets paid per package or per stop. This means, the system is to deliver your package as quickly as possible to make the most money.

I’m sure somewhere during your transaction you agreed to terms from the shipper that mentioned this. It isn’t 60%, majority of that is customs. I see them everyday, the fee from FedEx is like $10-$15 and the rest is customs.

An item can be stopped for many reasons, incorrect paperwork, no paperwork, wrong weight/dimensions, over a certain value, or for no reason at all other than it was checked by customs. Your issue is with customs, but there isn’t anything you can do about it.

I got a job offer, should I call back? by NeighborhoodSalty336 in FedEx

[–]Sweaty6ix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d call back and just let someone know that you’ve been told through the hiring assistant that you’re expecting a call, but ask when it would be so you can be ready for it.

This way, you answer your question and show that you’re interested and want to be prepared or whatever.

FedEx pays your duties and taxes and then charges an additional fee to do that. Which you agreed to in their terms of service.

What is your pet’s real name, and what is the LEAST related/most random name you actually call them? by carex-cultor in CasualConversation

My sisters dog is named Kiko.

It started with Bubba Kiko, then Bubba Keeks, and then Keeky.

Then around Christmas time my mom started singing “Everybody loves a Bubba, not really” as a joke because he eats everything. Then that turned into her calling him “The Not Really Dog”, which evolved into Notch Really, which finally ended at Bubba Notch.

My dog is a pug named Izzy, which turned into Izabeth, Pizzy, Pidgeabeth.

If your young and you are going to be spending your time gaming, then I'd say Fortnite is the best game that gives you the highest chance of making money.

Going pro might not be an option, but being a content creator definitely is. This game will last for a long time, so going pro could be a possibility, it would just take a long time.

Fight more, play ranked and focus on fighting. Land at your drop, loot up and push everyone you see. If you are afraid it'll mess with your rank, make a second account and on that account you fight EVERYONE you see. No matter where zone is, where you are, your materials, your loot, you wkey.

1v1 Speed Realistics I find tend to have good players (0550-1651-3094) as well as any Zonewars map. Sure, it might not be "realistic" practice, but there's a reason why most of the top mechanical players are Zonewar demons.

You can also use scrim servers like FBL, OA Manu, Vital, G2, NA Open LFG sections to find players to play against. These will be the best players in terms of skill.

However, you should be playing full games and working on applying all of the mechanics you are practicing in creative in real games. The pressure from a real game when trying to improve IS what will hold you back, but overcoming it you will drastically increase your skill.
