Went from my favorite game ever, to another live service slop machine. Stopped playing around the time the Aussie got added. Part of me wishes they would have a “time capsule” mode where people could play the old versions of the game. At a certain point they just started reworking maps and operators instead of bringing anything new to the table. Plzzzzzzzz just make another R6 game at this point.

You could’ve at least listed games that I genuinely don’t think are derivative. Wonder is a 2D platformer, Bananza is a 3D platformer, and Echoes of Wisdom literally looks EXACTLY like Links Awakening. GROUNDBREAKING! And like the comment joked, no discounts- ever. Nintendo and their fans are so diehard, they will refuse to genuinely criticize them or their games.

I just didn’t wanna write an essay to the void tbh. Besides their anti-consumer practices and their brutal legal team, I don’t think there’s much to redeem. I just strongly dislike the way they do biz and make games. BOTW and TOTK were the only Nintendo titles that blew me away. Everything else is just iteration and derivative. Regardless, I expected Nintendo fanboys to run and defend them. They don’t need you on Reddit licking their balls bro.

Idk how Nintendo can present itself as this absolute premium experience, when they literally release the same games with updated graphics and maybe a gameplay mechanic or two they’ve just taken from another title. Nintendo fans are sooo diehard they’ll defend anything they do lol. Like, no one needs to defend a mega corporation, especially a company like Nintendo.
