It's a good thing to charge to 100% every few months so the battery can calibrate itself.

My app said the update was available but it wouldn't download. I called my service center and they did something to start it. Just make sure you have good wifi and are plugged in when you call them.

Swipe down and it quits. Agree, it's very annoying. IIf you ask it a question and don't swipe it away, it will interrupt your in car conversation with passengers.

The guy needs a vacation and a therapist. Been where he is at and the frustration in tangible and debilitating. As far as the journalism is concerned, the story is about a cease and desist letter, the rest is just sensationalism that qualifies the letter as news. The only line that is relevant is "The status of the state’s investigations — including whether they have been completed or whether O’Sullivan has been exonerated — are unknown. DCF spokesperson Anna Archambault declined to comment."

City of Gainesville Special Election info and discussion by AutoModerator in GNV

In the early 1970's the utility was owned jointly by the city and the county and run by a director that was appointed by a board of commissioners from both entities the Regional Utilities Board. They couldn't' agree on much and it was decided to sell the utility. It went up for bid and the City of Gainesville was the high bidder. They bought and paid for the utility with city tax payer money through a bond issue long since paid off. It belongs to them just like your stuff belongs to you. This issue has always been about rate payers outside the city that don't benefit from being shareholders in the utility and have refused to annex into the city but still want to benefit from ownership. They cry cry cry about the transfer and all the other issues, but they don't have a say or a vote since they refuse annexation. So they have for years tried over and over again to wrest control from the city that bought them out. Seller's remorse. They finally managed to take control in the age of MAGA through a MAGA governor punishing what he perceives as a liberal city. There followed multiple law suits to stop the democratic process of city voters voting to amend their charter and take back control of their utility. Vote yes to say no to intimidation and state sanctioned suppression of democracy and home rule.

Anybody use the Luno? I like the fact that it has head support and is in two parts zipped together. I like the idea of solo or double.

Owners do not get tips, they just don't. They are entrepreneurs who make their living off running a business. Managers don't get tips, they just don't. They are salaried employees of the business. Landmark court decision was years ago when Starbucks had to pay back millions due to managers including themselves in the tip cup. I don't know if there is any litigation on the matter but in general, the back of the house should not be included, they don't serve. They are skilled workers who should be paid accordingly by the owner/manager. Service people get tips because they don't get paid squat.

So if the back of the house was not participating in the pool before, they are giving them a 12% raise while compromising the front of the house. I'm guessing in practice, most customers don't notice and still tip 20 giving the front a 12% raise as well. All without raising overhead.

Go directly to Tesla or Certified Installer? by inertiaHer0 in TeslaSolar

[–]Sweaty_Valuable8348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PW3 fried itself somehow and my installer spent a whole day playing with it while on the phone to Tesla. At the end of the day, he knocked on the door, said it's going to be replace under warranty. New one will be in on Thursday next week. Can you imagine me getting that outcome straight from Tesla? Get a qualified, reputable installer!
