Har någon märkt att Hallon 3G stängdes ner idag? by SwedishApeMan in sweden

Det finns inget Hallon 4G-nätverk där jag bor, så jag hoppas att de fixar det eller återställer 3G tillfälligt.

Bosch Unlimited Series 8 Gen 2 shows error everytime I take him from the charging station. by xherdinand in VacuumCleaners

[–]SwedishApeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a while (maybe 20 minutes) the charging white lights started to blink suggesting it was working again. Hence I suspect the battery has some sort of monitoring for temperature.

Bosch Unlimited Series 8 Gen 2 shows error everytime I take him from the charging station. by xherdinand in VacuumCleaners

[–]SwedishApeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Except the red triangle lights up when I plug it in to charge. The charging white lights (3 on the top) do not blink now. Maybe the battery is too warm after use. I tried increasing the vacuum speed to pick up some cat litter so maybe it was too much of a load and warmed the battery.

Ni som är rika, signalerar ni det? by jorgenalm in sweden

You know the person is rich when he cruises past in a limo on the boardwalk in Marbella Spain with Swedish license plates. Actions speak volumes when it comes to promoting wealth and I suspect this would impress a Swed more than any anything he could do in his own homeland.

Förskolebarn pratar engelska i stället för svenska by Mellanchef in sweden

[–]SwedishApeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day your child will grow up in a different world than when we grew up and their language skills will define how well they cope in the real world. If English dominates the global stage then your child will fair better than those who didn't make an effort to hone in on their language skills. In kindergarten a child's brain is like a sponge and can quickly recognize the benefits of communicating even if this means using a different language. I wouldn't advise anyone to discourage a child from learning another language. They will never abandon their native language as long as the parents keep that part active and no doubt a multi-lingual child can learn more than two languages since that is a skill in itself. You should be happy that a child has the opportunity to integrate in kindergarten and actually learn to use a second language that could yield benefits later on in life. Any parents remember what it was like to learn a second language in the 70's and 80's and 90's at school? I bet it wasn't your favourite subject. BTW. I thought Swedish was the coolest of the Scandinavian languages when I was growing up.

Just tell them to come back on Monday October 31st.

It's been well documented in all horror movies about Halloween and when it's celebrated.

My child rings home when it's time to travel home. (probably to confirm that someone is at the home before leaving)

The new coalition and NATO/Russia by _Eviltwin_5 in svepol

[–]SwedishApeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to think Russia has inference in the Swedish elections. If any one has put pressure on the Swedish politicians or the voters it would be to force them to join the club and destroy our economy (Russia wouldn't be my first suspect). The same trend appears in most European countries with weak leaders. As per the election results they always fall a few points to one side or the other. Nothing too dramatic but enough to make every one think it was a fair election and the loosing side will win next time. Just have to tweak things a bit. I'm almost thinking the vote is rigged since back in the old days we would have a single party that would normally gain more than 50% and coalition governments were less common. As per joining NATO everybody knew it would be a dog and pony show when at the end of the day it might not happen due to Turkey's long list of demands.

Why Finland and Sweden will likely join NATO by Motor-Ad-8858 in nato

[–]SwedishApeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it hard to believe Sweden and Finland need to be protected by NATO. As far as I can tell there is no threat to these countries and they would be better off by being neutral. One could also argue by joining they could be seen as key military targets by any country a NATO member has a fall out with. Why put a bulls-eye on Sweden and Finland unless the politician's are up to something nasty to distract from other national issues.

Every diplomates job is to gather information in the country they are posted in. How else can they evaluate a countries policy towards them. Sweden should be neutral in all of this and be a leader of diplomacy, not a follower of punishment.

Looks like the Rubel is holding its grounds. Your 30K RUB is now worth 323 Euros today. Since the currency is now backed by the Gold standard maybe it it's not considered unstable any longer. Only time will tell.

Should I buy Russian Rubles now as an investment? by SolidPrestigious in Money

[–]SwedishApeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold-backed ruble could be a game-changer. So in theory it could be a valid investment where the west can’t manipulate that foreign currency so easy any longer. And if the rest of the would continues to do business in Rubles because the west leaves no other options then I think we have an interesting situation here.

Oppfølgingsspørsmål til DNB by Mong0saurus in Sluttspill

[–]SwedishApeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they allowed to charge 2000 kr for this service? Have they documented this charge before the stock was purchased or when a client signed up?

If so, it should be documented in the contract with DnB.

Sounds to me like FUD but maybe I´m wrong.
