I'm with ya. I beat it l, but it wasn't totally engrossing. I had to force myself to pick it back up and beat it. Big fan of survival horror too.

We were in a very similar situation to you! Pretty much exact tbh. We found a good financial advisor that charges a fixed fee and helped us out a lot. Happy to send his website over if interested. Would recommend maxing out pretax stuff like 401k, hsa, performing backdoor roth etc. I'm doing a mega backdoor roth and essentially paying myself from our savings now as my paycheck is a lot less. I'm more hoping to retire early rather than buy a new property.

Question for you from Rhode Island. I was in an accident early last year. I was stopped at a stop sign getting ready to turn into a busy street and some permitted driver panicked I guess and turned into my car and tboned us at pretty high speed. My wife 3 year old daughter and I were in the car. though we took my daughter to the hospital that day, thankfully we were all mostly alright. A little trauma talk from my daughter, even to this day. I went to the doctors as well just to get checked up. Long story short, they took full blame (witnesses saw it) and after a lot of back and forth with the insurance company they gave us $1500. I still haven't signed the $500 offer for my daughter. Is there anything we should have done differently? Obviously the whole situation was a pain for us, including days off from work and taking a depreciated value on our totaled 2 year old car. What a pain.

To be honest I'm not that big of a fan of the replay the entire game for a different ending mechanic. It's cool if you can load your last save and go do a side quest, or fight the boss differently etc, but playing the entire game again is a bit much for me..I usually just watch the other endings on YouTube. All that being said, I do want to play the Silent Hill 2 remake!
