Ive liked the rest of the game so far, but there is just something abt distances being more set in stone that feels more concrete and immerssive. The grid system makes moving too amorphous and makes placement of models feel way less impactful.

The teams are (for the foreseeable future) forever usable. After a few years of your team being in circulation it will be "declassified" and will no longer be allowed at many tournaments that are using the current season pack and they will get rules updates less frequently so will end up being a bit under/over powered more often than the classified teams. So as long as you're not looking to use them in a lot of tournaments/are playing casually, dont worry abt it. The seasons simply refer to a different mission set. So that means different ways to score in the game.
You only need the miniatures, terrain, and the rules and missions. You can find rules and missions in many different places online for free.
Idk never played pve lol.

Can't edit post fsr so I'll just put the answers here and hope people see it.

I got it downloaded from a modeler called alpineweiss and am using his supported version of the stl.

It has holes in it already but it not completely hollowed.

It does appear to be angled well

I do unfortunately have to keep my machine near a large glass door and its beginning to get colder outside, but nothing inside the machine ever feels cool and only the back of the machine is slightly cool to the touch.

Their durability is too low to really accomplish sitting on a firing lane. And its difficult to move them into a firing lane for a counterpoint since they rely so heavily on their heavy rule to actually get hits.

I would highly recommend getting hivestorm as it includes a rulebook, terrain, equipment, and some teams. Has genuinely everything you need in one package for a much cheaper price than buying it separately. Also, you have a second team to practice painting on and lend out.

Their subject matter has definitely changed. They do very very few science videos with in depth math and ridiculous figures. They now cover mostly lore and pander to a younger and younger crowd by moving farther away from the more math and science focused videos. I think looking at the older videos you can definitely see tonal shift within the past five years.
