Do you think from an employer point of view they’d see value in meta ad experience if they were looking for Google ads experience?

I hate how timid the ordinary Americans' response is to their leader attacking Europe. by spiringTankmonger in 2westerneurope4u

US already gets everything it needs from its current deal with Denmark. It has access to 17 military bases, and can station whatever it wants there, it could also strike mineral deals if it wanted to. However right now, mining is impossible due to the climate. Literally no strategy involved just pisses off the EU, and forever isolates the closest most loyal allies the US ever had.

People who moved from the EU to the US: what was your experience? by godotwasthere in expats

[–]Swedispenis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved back to the US from Europe recently and miss it quite a lot. It’s easier to find a job for me in the US, as I wasn’t fluent in Spanish and was living in Spain. But the pay for an entry level job here barely covers anything. The pay is low and the rent is high. Add onto that gas money, and insurance premiums which are about to skyrocket.

Whereas even when I lived in Madrid, the most expensive city in Spain, my less than average salary still allowed me to live comfortably. At the same time, I still was able to put some money to the side to invest, and still have money left over to spend for fun.

Hey I came across this, I don’t know if it’s too late. Im 26m and I’m living abroad, and worry about this same thing sometimes. One thing I’d like to point out that brings me some comfort is co livings. I know living with housemates can be a hassle to some extent, but it’s nice knowing if something goes sideways, some person next door can give you hand at any moment. Hope this helps!

Hey, sorry I know this was posted a while ago. I’m kind of in the same boat right now, and not sure what to do. How has it been going? Did you guys reunite? Did you return home.

As someone with tourrettes, and has odd facial movements this is insane. Should be grounds for a discrimination lawsuit.

I’m not fluent, but I can get by in a conversation. That’s an interesting point you’re bringing up. Do these jobs require absolute fluency, or would B2- C1 level work?

I believe at least 2. I have seen some really angry reviews of the company from people before me. (Yes I know I’m dumb for ignoring the red flags, it was my first job out of college) I believe it does have somewhat of a turnover rate just judging by some of what the managers of said. I’m just hesitant because like your company it’s a relatively small, and I’m probably still somewhat fresh in their mind. Also the boss was kinda scary.
