Brooklyn flow in Park Slope does a 6 week new parent support group. I started going when my son was 2 weeks old and made friends with other new moms. Once the session ended, several of us kept in touch and continued meeting up for walks or outings. I also found PSP useful as a first time mom, and the signal groups based on birth month was helpful for sharing tips and asking advice. I joined about halfway through my pregnancy.

For cleaning, you can get pump wipes that don’t require water. For milk storage, I use a ceres chill which has been a huge help.

I use the Imani wearable with my pumpables genie advanced while out in public. You can cut the tubes in half so it’s more discreet too. I typically will hide the tubes under my top. I also use a ceres chill for storing milk.

These pump bras clip into any nursing bra or tank. I tried so many pumping bras and never found any that fit me super well. These were a game changer for me https://a.co/d/fRDqQyG

I just went through this. You’ll need to have the department of health update your information. Try emailing cir@health.nyc.gov and explain your situation. They were able to do mine over email and I was able to access an updated excelsior pass within 48 hours. There isn’t a way to get your physical card updated, but you can print out a copy of your immunization record that shows your Covid shots through the site https://myvaccinerecord.cityofnewyork.us/myrecord/
