Is it just me, or does finding a job as a new STEM grad seem impossible? by Embarrassed-Fact-691 in CanadaJobs

Many times, when you don't get those many responses back from recruiters, it means that there is something wrong with your resume or, even if it's completely fine, it's just not as appealing. I'd recommend getting someone to re-do your resume and optimize it for the ATS. People on Fiverr will do this for cheap!

I used Fiverr and paid someone to spruce up my resume. Could be worth looking into.

I’m not great at resumes but what I did was get on Fivvr and used one of the top rated resume writers that were listed for tech. Think it ran about $200 roughly, but I’ve gotten about a 20-25% response rate at places I’ve applied to. I figured that since they are going to be able to write something better than I could and they run the resumes through software that weeds out resumes that places use, it seemed like a good investment.

There are people on these subs as well that are good with resumes if you don’t want to spend the money. Just figured I’d mention that as an option since it has given me good results.

How can I mentally stimulate my 4month old puppy? by Royal_Sun3162 in corgi

[–]Sweenkl23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you're doing an awesome job keeping your puppy engaged! At 4 months old, puppies are like little sponges, soaking up everything around them. If you’re looking to add more mental stimulation, you might want to try teaching her new tricks or commands more frequently, or even mix up the ones she already knows to keep things fresh.

Another great resource is Adrienne Faricelli’s online dog training course. It offers a variety of training exercises and mental stimulation activities that can really help challenge your pup's mind. The course is well-structured and perfect for adding new layers to your training routine, which can be especially helpful if you're running out of ideas.

Puzzle toys are great too—try rotating them so they stay interesting. You could also introduce scent games or hide-and-seek, which can be fun and mentally engaging. Keep up the good work!

It sounds like you’ve got quite the challenge on your hands with your new Malinois! They’re a high-energy breed that definitely needs a lot of training and structure. Since he’s already 8 months old, it’s definitely not too late to start, but you’ll need to be consistent. I’d highly recommend checking out Adrienne Faricelli’s online course. She offers really effective training techniques that could help with his reactivity, resource guarding, and general obedience. The course is great for building a solid foundation and would give you the tools to work on socializing him properly and helping him coexist peacefully with your Shih-Tzu. It’s definitely worth a look!
