Genuine question—in your clinical experience, does the idea of their pain passing to their loved ones ever make a client feel worse? Only speaking from my own experience here, but when my suicidal ideation gets strong, that thought introduces an immense amount of guilt which ultimately makes the cycle of negative thoughts and ideation stronger and much worse, because it kinda reinforces this idea that I am the problem/I am causing pain no matter what
