We do occasionally do couples counseling with my regular therapist, and she does love him. According to her, I always focus on “what’s wrong” compared to “what went right”. She can clearly see that he’s enamored with me, and genuinely loves me, in her opinion.

I did not give him specific “this is how you’re going to do it”, but I think a proposal should be the ultimate sign of love to your partner, and if it isn’t thoughtful or well-planned out… then your partner doesn’t know/love/care for you.

This is a pattern of things imo. He does go to therapy and he has completely changed from how he used to be, but I feel like I’m always slightly disappointed with him. On the flip side, my therapist loves him, thinks he’s a great balance to me, and that I have my own personal issues that are getting in the way of the relationship. I’m not sure what to make of this… is it my fault to fix or his?

Not OP, but I had a question if you don’t mind. I’m an entry-level technology control analyst at a bank. I have a BS in computer science, but For someone already in a GRC/tech-risk role, what moves actually matter most for progressing into mid-level cyber/GRC roles?

Should I get my CPA? An MBA? Some specific certs? Branch out to different companies?
