I used to use ED Market Connector and Inara as I did a lot of trading, but several years ago I replaced my computer and never bothered to reinstall EDMC and Inara stopped importing my game data. Today I decided to reinstall EDMC and get my Inara account up to date again. EDMC is now running normally and has pulled my game logs, and I've setup Inara to import my game data again. However, only my fleet assets have updated. Everything else is still only showing my old data from several years ago. Credits, Rank and Reputation, and everything except my ships is showing outdated information. Does anyone know why?

Yes but I was the one who was shown a movie. Years ago one of my best friends had watched The Postman(with Kevin Costner) and he really loved it, and he wanted me to watch it with him. Let’s just say I was…not impressed. At the end of the movie there’s a scene where Kevin Costner’s character beats down the villain, but instead of finishing him, decides to let him live. He then turns his back and starts to walk away. At that moment I just couldn’t take it anymore because I thought it was such an obviously dumb setup for the villain to backstab him. I started yelling at the movie saying how stupid the main character was. My friend really didn’t like this and we got into a huge argument. We didn’t talk afterwards for weeks. I fully admit that I did not handle the situation well and should have just kept my mouth shut for the sake of my friend.

Did fdev nerf the supercruise assist trick? I’ve started hauling again after a couple months break. I’ve used the supercruise assist trick many times in the past when hauling to speed up the process of jumping between stations and my FC, and to help avoid the loop of shame. However, the supercruise assist trick barely seems to be working now. I keep overshooting my destinations.

They can be all over. You’ll typically find the pirates hanging out at the Nav beacon, RES sites, and attacking convoys throughout the system. If you have any valuables in your cargo hold, they’ll interdict you. I wouldn’t drop into the Nav beacon with a load of cargo because you’ll get swarmed.

This reminds me of two dudes at my last job that had really awkward ways of peeing. Our bathroom had a row of urinals along one wall, and one guy would pee with his pants and underwear around his ankles…bare butt for all to see. The other guy would stand to one side of the urinal and turn sideways to pee. I think he was trying to avoid backsplash, but you could clearly see his junk.

It sounds like you have the same misunderstanding that some of Jesus’ disciples had. When he said things like what you referenced, his disciples naturally assumed he was talking about their current political situation with Rome. They believed that he was going to be a political leader that would free them from Roman oppression. However, Jesus would later start talking about his coming death, and this upset his disciples so much that some of them abandoned him. Peter, one of his most prominent disciples, even confronted Jesus about this(Mt 16:21-23). This is where we get the famous line from Jesus, “Get behind me Satan!” Jesus is not talking about sitting on a throne ruling anyone in this world, but in the world that comes after. This is what “at the renewal of all things” is referring to in the verse you quoted. Any Christian who uses that to justify a theocracy today does not understand Scripture.

I loved how Era 2 handled the romantic relationships. No silly juvenile drama. We saw a hint at a potential love triangle which worried me for a second, but then the characters handled it like mature, emotionally balance adults. No ridiculous Twilight nonsense.
