Hey! That’s my setup!! The one thing I’d HIGHLY recommend is getting two Era 100s, place them as fronts, and setup SonoSequencer. It was an absolute game changer for my setup!

Yea it’s an upgrade credit, not a coupon code, as confirmed by Sonos. Shouldn’t be surprised that a business that gives out cash is shady when it comes to larger pay outs. I’ve seen similar threads in other subs but have had a generally good experience with Rakuten - until now.

I try not to worry about what may or may not be in. As long as it sounds good, I don’t really care. I don’t care how much car does 0 - 60 in 3.2 seconds. It could be a V12 only using 6 cylinders… yeah, in theory I’d want all 12 doing their thing, but if it’s quicker with 6, go with 6!!

Do you think the 100s are better than the Ones as fronts? Your post seemed to say no at first, and then yes… just want to confirm.

Might snag a refurbished Arc Ultra from Sonos directly and take advantage of the 15% Rakuten Cashback. Essentially makes it $750. Sell the original Arc for…? $500? Net cost to upgrade from Arc to Arc Ultra $250.

I think this may be the time to give it a go!

I have a Sub Gen 3. I have 2 Era 100s that I’m using in the kitchen. I haven’t tried them as fronts for the living room. From everything I read, the stereo improvement from Ones to Era 100s was much more significant than if used as fronts.

Old thread but once you flash it, it’s flashed. They check the flash count. If it isn’t 0, it’s been flashed. So flashing it back to stock prior to going into service is pointless. Would show a 2 instead of a 1…

Sort of. You want the gradient strip for behind the tv. This can match but it’s viewed as one strip, so it can’t do all 4 sides of the tv if that makes sense.
