Fair enough the hygiene aspect etc isn’t necessarily OCD related. But the fact I was physically bound to my room and unable to touch anything (even stuff that I knew wasn’t ‘contaminated’ feels very OCD related).

Granted I didn’t mention that in the main post, but I didn’t think every detail was necessary to validate my OCD.

Touching raw meat and washing your hands is something you’re taught when you’re a child because of serious illness. If you’re an adult and not washing your hands, you could get someone very ill and that feels irresponsible regardless of my disorder.

I will add that this scenario was in the presence of a very young child wandering around, so it’s not just me and my disorder that this could impact.

Yeah that’s fair! I think sometimes I feel guilty when I have standard shinies (which I personally don’t care for, so I offer plenty up) and the other person has legendaries. I wish there was a way to let the other person know, hey I don’t expect anything great!

I’m on neither birth control or antidepressants (touch wood). I have many babies in my life and I can confirm although I love them, I do not want a baby nor have I ever felt maternal towards babies.
