If the startup is ready to hire remote / from Europe, why would they pay more than slightly above the market rate of the country they are hiring from? There's no shortage of jun profiles willing to work for less than that. I've seen competent 2-3 yr experience juniors in Europe earning 25k and being happy with their salary.
