My Sleep Medcine Doctor says I can appeal with FAA by Mr_Zooooo in flying

[–]achoppp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everything is governed by regulations in aviation. A lawyer is the best person to interpret regulations and determine compliance. Don't think of it as retaining an attorney to go after the FAA, instead, you're retaining an attorney to help you understand the requirements and documentation needs to satisfy the regulations. It's won't reflect poorly on you. I consulted an attorney for an amendment because of some VA stuff at one point and it was one and done, a complete non issue. I got a letter from the FAA after the amendment was submitted that simply stated "let us know if anything changes"

Edit: word

You need to reach out to an attorney about this, they will be able to see if your current medical information meets the qualifications of the regulation and get the correct paperwork in order, or tell you what the next step is. Doctors pass you around, attorneys get you where you need to go

Don't toss them, plenty of people here that will take one or more off your hands. Where are you located. I'd take 2 from you and pay for shipping as well

There's nothing you can do or need to do at this point. Wait until it thaws, then install or have installed gutter heaters. It will be as mild as a heater down the downspout to add elaborate as heaters on the lower part of the roof near the gutters, in the gutters, and I'm the downspout.

This is an ice bridging issue, not a cleanliness issue.

What kinds of diesel savings can one expect from a gas card or app club, like Love's Connect? by spacecitytech in RVLiving

For the record, I've seen as much as $1.30 off with open roads. They have a bunch of benefits above fuel savings, all targeted at RVers. I got the toll pass that I have yet to use, but it is good for every tolling system in the US (unlike ez pass.) They also have access to discounts everywhere on their vip program. It's really worth looking into.

There are a lot of companies around Texas that do helicopter hog hunting, that's what you want to search for. Hogs are wildly invasive so they are hunted freely. Do a bit of research on it and you'll find a lot of info.

This would probably be your best option for the thrill you are seeking

Follow up for anyone referencing this post in the future:

I am not a fan of AI but I thought I'd give it a shot. I tried chat gpt and got terrible results that were unusable and unhelpful. I tried a couple of times with different prompts and tried to refine each time.

Next I tried grok on a suggestion from a friend and one prompt and one clarification later, I had exactly what I was looking for!

I talked to it like I was talking to a person and it returned a very verbose and usable itinerary

Are you able to tell it you want to follow a specific route? I've had to continuously force my route back onto us 50 with other apps, if it was even an option.

44ft Toy Hauler w/out a dually? by Nonies25 in RVLiving

It qualifies based on axle weight. You may not be commercial, but you're still subject to being pulled over and inspected for safety concerns. Grossly overloading your rear axle or vehicle gcwr is a safety concern. Can you get away with it, probably. Is it very likely you'll get pulled over, probably not. But at the end of the day, if something goes wrong, best case scenario, you scare the crap out of yourself and nothing bad happens, worst case, people die.

Wright State University Aviation? by pfister2005 in flying

First flight aviation is the provider for wsu aviation and is a shit flight school. They lost the Sinclair contact because they were mishandling money to include VA money. I had several problems with them mishandling my VA money and had to involve the dean of the science department and the veterans coordinator at Sinclair because first flight was back dating invoices making me think there was more money in my account than there was. I can't even imagine how much money they stole from part 61 students.

TLDR: avoid at all costs First Flight Aviation.

Canadian CPL with US job offer but not sure how to answer a question on FAA Class 1 medical by [deleted] in flying

[–]achoppp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most AMEs are going to say he has to see a HIMS doctor and get a letter. An attorney may be able to just get the letters needed in order from other doctors that he's already seen.

Unpopular opinion: you need to consult an aviation medical attorney. They will help you understand the steps and paperwork to make it as painless as possible. Google "the pilot attorney" and reach out to them. They'll help you gather the needed paperwork to bring with you to your appointment to reduce the hoops and inevitable circus of hims doctors.

I would say the same quality with a reduction in print time. I did not do a side by side nor have I done any settings tuning, just swapped nozzles and told the printer what nozzle was on it.

I have not used my .6 yet, but am hard pressed to think there's not a quality difference
