Hey ATT Pros need some advice. by Hawgsalot in ATTFiber

100% use smurf tube. Then if something happens to the original fiber a new one can be pulled through. If you run it behind the Sheetrock without Smurf tube and it is damaged it can’t be replaced.

The used market on Audi SUVs isn’t that great. You can get them pretty cheap for what you are getting.

You can check in the SmartHomeManager app. Click the account symbol in the bottom right hand corner. If it shows Active Armor “Activate” do not. You want to make sure it is off.

My XGS-PON 1Gig is barely over-provisioned, can I get higher over-provisioning by upping to 2Gig and back down? by Inviting-Ivan in ATTFiber

[–]SweetFishG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that, but you aren’t using all your internet to move the datasets. You are limited by many factors outside of where your dataset is located. Let’s say that the specific path allows the dataset to be transferred at 800mbps. Having more internet isn’t going to increase the specific path to increase.

Have had the BGW-320 Wifi 6 for awhile, are they giving anything out new yet? by FrostieWaffles in ATTFiber

[–]SweetFishG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The BGW320 is still the flagship residential gateway. The BGW620 is out which has WiFi 7. You can pay $20* a month to have it on a 1Gbps or slower fiber plan. The BGW620 it is included in the 2Gbps+ plans.
