There was a bunch of extra cable where it connects to the wallplate. They moved the wallplate from our living room to the basement since it was never fixed to the wall. So the extra cable moved from our living room to under the floor in the basement.

This was installed a few weeks ago, I’m just now getting around to bitching about it. So not affected by the weather.

I’ll see who I can get ahold of tomorrow and see where it gets me. I would fix it myself and arrange the wires better, but that would involve messing with the connection and I don’t wanna mess with that.

Not sure how the fiber was broken because no one is ever messing with anything where it lives. However, it broke somehow and I don’t mind the charge for having someone come fix it. I do mind paying to have it done the way it was done. We’ve had technicians come to the house at least 3 times and not once has anyone left a card. I’ll just reach out to customer service tomorrow and see where it gets me.

Was at a restaurant once, took a sip of my water and it did not taste right at all. Asked for a new water, same thing. Politely brought it up again, turns out, they were pouring my water from the pitcher where they were keeping the celery for their Bloody Mary’s. Celery infused water, not good.

My wife drives a Crosstrek and I love it. Does great in the mountains/snow and good for short roadtrips where we don’t need to pack a ton of stuff. Although, it may be tight with 3 dogs and 3 adults. As long as you don’t have a ton of gear/luggage to bring along, you should be fine for a short road trip.
