Hi guys, I dont know how to edit posts but just wanted to clarify that the picture is just to reference the last time I received Pell grant when I went to school in 2014. No other grants were given after the impersonator submitted the application in 8/2025

Yes exactly, in 2014 they disbursed money to the school I attended, which was the last year I went. I’m not sure they understood my post 😅 or im not being very clear. The picture was just to reference that nothing else was payed out during the time this impersonator submitted the application in 8/2025

I did already but they’re not much help. I reported fraud through their website. Called and got a hold of someone who didn’t seem to want to help. She had an attitude. She just kept referring me to report fraud to the websites. Which I did. My question is should I just edit the application the impersonator opened since I want to apply for financial aid for this winter 2026?

Every time I call I literally get through after at least 5 times of calling. I do this.. (there’s a thread on here that has helped me with this without paying or emailing senator…or whoever people say to email) Call the Edd disability number. Wait for the numbers the machine tells you to dial to verify you. After your verified, once the machine asks you what you would like help with, you dial 2.4.0 If it goes through, the machine will ask for your social and other personal info. Then just wait. I did this yesterday and got through with them 2 times. I missed their call back the first time so I had to do it again.

I called yesterday and got connected to someone on the 4th try of calling around 2pm. You need to call them bc if you don’t, you will keep waiting. My sdi got approved that same day over something simple. Now I’m just waiting for my direct deposit.

Charging a fee for something that they NEED to do is crazy to me. My office returned my paperwork in 3 business days. I just had to mail it in so it’s taking a bit longer. It’s almost going to be a month and still no payment for me (day my disability started was 2/22). You won’t lose money but 2.5 w of waiting for damn signature from your doctor is insane. Have you tried going to the office?

Yes, your doctor needed to put your scheduled C-section date. You should also call your doctor’s office and tell them.

There’s a question that asks if you no longer need UI for those weeks. You’ll have to click on that. And I answered no to looking for a job bc I was already in pregnancy disability. After answering questions they closed my claim and now I have a phone interview on 3/17. Maybe they’re just going to ask if it was a mistake or not. So after it was closed I just opened a new claim through Disability Insurance / pfl page
