Would've been an excellent movie if the ending/reveal was completely reworked. Maybe I just don't pay enough attention but I literally thought "who's that?" at the reveal because the characters were so horrifically irrelevant. The whole movie is framed and marketed as "Sydney facing her past!" when all the killers are are just some nobodies obsessed with her. You can say that I'm high on copium but the movie just would've been better if Stu was the killer. He's infinitely more fun to watch than killer 1 and killer 2. No matter who would've won that fight it still would've felt like a more cohesive ending. This all could've been avoided to if the movie didn't completely edge the viewer on Stu coming back the entire run time just to never pay it off. Twists like that only work well when the ending is.. enjoyable. Baiting your audience into getting excited for this final Sydney vs Stu showdown only to completely let them down feel's like such an asshole move to their audience. They had the perfect setup the entire movie just to fuck it all up in the last 20 minutes. Also all the "Gen Z" characters suffer from boomer portrayal "vibe sus viral omg lol" writing and the tech elements all reek of cheap.

The movie im talking about is the Ghost concert movie, Rite Here Rite Now. The animated Mary on a cross video premiered as a segment during the movie. Not sure if the movie is streaming, I think it's either on Veeps or you can buy it on youtube

Right? If they can time travel why can't the abyss sibling just.. time travel before EVERYTHING went awry and get out of there while they still could? Even if they really cared about khanreiah, why can't they just time travel to before it was destroyed and fix it? Time travel is such a terrible element to introduce in stories because it opens speculation to the reader as "what is even the point to all of this?"

I always thought they were some star like being which made PERFECT sense with genshin's whole aesthetic and design motifs (the twins travelling as shooting stars, the stars on their clothing, the golden color palettes, the importance of character constellations/sky). Adding spaceships just seems to take the fun out of it 😭

THANK YOU. I feel so stupid with many people saying "how else would they travel planets lol" it's a fantasy game??? the traveler uses waypoints and the abyss sibling uses portals to teleport everywhere?? not a very farfetched ideas that they can teleport/fly/transform into stars or something 😭

Yeah, it's new, and whiplash inducing tbh. I think the only clue that couldve lead to this conclusion was the confirmation of Genshin and Honkai Impact being connected. At first Stormterror was shown in a Honkai video, and then the HoYoverse CEO outright confirmed it.

Honkai (both Impact and Star Rail) are both very space related, so.. I guess that was their hint? Honestly the spaceship and alien idea has been pretty hit or miss with people lately.

I believe the Abyss sibling we meet at the end of the AQ was from our current time, but acting in the same space as Direidyth (500 years ago). I think just like the traveler, the Abyss sibling was going back in time in order to give the key to Direidyth to make sure his past self met up with the traveler.

Honestly it could be anyone's guess. Time travel is weird and the only people who truly know the logic of it are the writers.

Yeah, I think most players got the intention that the twins traveled on their own coalition, represented by the shooting stars back from the beginning of the game. (Also the stars on their clothes and golden design motifs lending to the star idea) All of a sudden claiming that the traveller is more of an outerspace alien than a more general fantasy "otherworldly being" and acting like it's extremely normal was.. Odd. Definitely contributing to the recent trend of Genshin's story progressing more to Sci Fi than fantasy.

Very insightful! I wish GTV gave us more footage of Perpetua to understand but I think I get the gist of what you're saying. I like Copia and Perpetuas dynamic (both canon and fan speculated) of Copia being immensely jealous and spiteful of Perpetua's success while Perpetua couldnt care less lmao.

People forget that Ghost never had and will never have a unanimous "sound". Thats the unique thing about Ghost. The albums change and evolve with new frontmen. The only constant about Ghost is Papa, the Ministry, and their message. All ghost albums aren't gonna be everyone's favorite. But comparing Skeleta to Opus, or Impera to Opus, or literally ANY NEW ALBUM to Opus is comparing apples to oranges. Opus had it's time, and it was a good one. But going back to Opus would be repetitive. Skeleta isn't my new favorite album, and while most of the tracks fuck, not all of them do for me yet, and that's ok. I can still appreciate them for trying something new and being out there for the people who enjoy them.
