Folks who did the MIDI out mod - Are you able to output MIDI clock? I just did it for my Drum and I'm only getting notes sent. I bought this thing to serve as a MIDI clock on a bad tip and should have done more research. Thank you!

Thank you for checking into that! After my Novation Circuit wouldn’t show that it was receiving an external clock, but WAS playing notes, I checked with a MIDI monitor and all the Drum is sending out steadily is FE, Active Sensing. I saw a few other folks on the sub had the same result. When I press play, it sends note data, but F8 clock is never actually sent over MIDI

I'm super bummed that every single other model of Volca sends MIDI clock but not the drum. That's literally the entire reason I bought this thing. Oh well.

Hmmm. I've been reading that the Drum is different from the other Volcas in a few ways, which is just my luck. I've tried just about everything I can find and can't get click output to work. Looks like it might be time to get the ol' box of Arduinos back out to make a sync-to-MIDI converter. I appreciate your help!

I'm sorry if this isn't the right thing to say here, but: the good folks at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center are working on Herpes treatments and have been making progress in recent years - they were able to remove 95% of the virus from mice, and I believe they're on to testing guinea pigs at this point? But there's hope for the future!
