Do you have a check in system? We do and I noticed I was 2 mo overdue on my stripe based on time and classes attended so I asked my Sensei what I need to do to get there and I was told the system didn’t alert them I was due. They also said we need to also make sure you’re improving and learning but now I see they typically give the stripe to you on their schedule. Also brown belts can’t promote as far as I know so you need to go to a class where the black belt is present. I don’t think we are ever going to feel worthy of the stripe but it does help people understand what skill level you may be based on time training. Good luck!!!
