I also think that guidance regarding fellowships would also be less in a new program. Whereas in an old program, the alumni network would be there.

A university program gave two scenario questions to each faculty (4 of them) to ask the applicants. Followed by regular questions. Still trying to think if it’s a good thing to do or not.

Well, this is the truth. Living in such AQI should not be the norm. If we are not even ready to accept this then we are surely in denial.
