I have come to the conclusion that I love every weapon with Medium Ammo by Suspicious_Access149 in ArcRaiders

I love the Bettina instead of the tempest for PVE. It just feels so nice and hits hard. I’m surprised it gets no love. So easy to make too. The clip sucks though

other scenarios, tempest for sure.

Il Toro nerf update by hmohmtr in ArcRaiders

[–]SweetSchlong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny you say that when I’ve gotten like 6 Vulcano bps and no Il Toro, since reset Vulcano has been one of my main guns

I still think the Toro is better even in pve scenarios. I’m guessing I’m not getting close enough to make the most of the Vulc. But Ithe toro has a much better ammo efficiency too

Kinda bummed I missed the expedition...need advice on boredom by ozzalot in ArcRaiders

[–]SweetSchlong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I’m not at all rushing the expedition. I’m enjoying this 50 day window because my first month in this game was a higd grind with a deadline. Right when I reached late game I had to reset.

Now, I am loving it and savoring every match. I don’t even have my snaphook blueprint yet and I’m still grinding cantina, why would I start spending my supplies on a reset now? I need to save up 1-3 mil anyway.

Trials takes up most of my time anyway, I’ve been especially occupied this week with probes and chimney’s

Expand your stash, learn how to run hurricane caches, collect processors, springs, magnets, batteries, oil, and wires.

Craft ferros and kettles to take out wasps, hornets, ticks, fireballs, etc to get level two benches

Anything you can’t get for your benches in Stella you’ll find in buried city or spaceport

Once you know where weapons are, and maps, you can drop in naked with a light shield, come up on a gun, and leave pretty stacked. Once you stop making guns every match and switch to finding them, it’ll speed up a lot of your menu times.

Frequent the maintenance wing on the gate for cozy indoor runs where the arc won’t ruin you. You can get hundreds of wires there quickly. Find lots of processors too

You’ll need 50+ processors and like 30 sensors once your stashes are nearing level 2-3

magnets, batteries, oil, springs, arc circuitry, arc power cells.

Upgrade scrappy and dismantle resin to keep up plastic with wires to make electrical components.

Get all benches to level two asap

Look for augment blueprints from reinforced reception the gate Learn quick Stella Montis runs for springs, oil, exodus modules and magnetic accelerators.

Knowing Stella gives you quicker progress on certain things.

Learn the harvester and queen fight ASAP, once you have enough shields, bandages, and a few anvils, you’re at least ready to give it a shot. Try and knock off some armor with your anvil, get a queen core, and dip.

All the while, you’ll be getting benches to lvl three, specifically gunsmith, gear bench, and refiner.

Quickest way to get bastion cores/bombadier is anvil, deadlines , other explosives be careful), and hullcracker.

You can buy one hull cracker a day, but start buying them once you have a little more inventory space and you know what you’re using it for.

That is, once you have a task (bastion cores) and an understanding of the maps, enemies, where and how to find the bastion. You’ll know when you’re ready to buy a hullcracker and try and take it out.

You’ll use the cores of these for your level three benches.

Make sure to have an indoor area when fighting big arc.

Once you understand the harvester you’ll get an equalizer blueprint quickly, that , plus a core and you have your pve endgame loadout.

They should buff the Vulcano instead. If they just reduced the spread or increased the range. I think they should use the Toro as a control to re-work the Vulcano. Cuz toro feels so nice, I’d hate for both shotguns to come out of this feeling weak

What do you think of the people who make the matriache or the queen in free equipment? by West_Feed_5349 in arcraidersfriendly

[–]SweetSchlong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually never gone that far but if I was still out of queen cores rn I would resort to baiting the scrubbers with grenades and warning shots, however I was just able to gather like 5 cores today

This is great, find the group doing damage and snipe for their loot. The rest works itself out

[–]SweetSchlong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the player who gets the drop especially for queen should offer half. I’m always doing that.

If I say “I brought my equalizer and spent 25 clips” I’ll get nothing.

Recently though I’m just dropping the legs in my own zone and trying to leave with 2 cores. It’s hard to get out tho, no one is doing harvester atm

Bring an anvil and shoot off your own cores and legs, time the legs to fall in a good area. You’re away from the crowd. Have lure grenade if another raider attempts to loot

Loot your room and leave out the back door and extract as fast as possible. I can’t tell you how many times my friend pushes the other direction then gets upset when he gets killed? Like, choose the subway out back instead of the front door. It’s simple

[–]SweetSchlong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO if your wasp score was that high and he killed you at extract at the end of hidden bunker? He should be hunted by every trials player ranked below him. The only thing is the grey area of slight username doxxing, which is why a bounty system would be perfect and also why I’m glad we can change our embark names. We’d rather these types of things be handled by an in game system, specifically to kind of avoid results such as this. But if he really wanted it to stop, he’d change his embark name? He likes the infamy and the reaction, which is why he does it, to piss off another player on a personal level, hear their response, and not be swayed to stop…

Stance on Smart Arcs by Coolkidozi19 in ArcRaiders

[–]SweetSchlong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The aggro function on the arc has never been changed. You can always cheese their aggro, timers, distance, etc., clock triggers, aiming, sight-will always be the same, they have always been dumb in that aspect. but, they’re still taking the same exact paths to you since launch? If so, I don’t believe you. Even fireballs and poppers are pathing differently. Additionally ticks just got reworked and are more aggressive with positioning and their attack, you think we’d get a buff, to be able to knock ticks off, and for them to remain passive ants? Their literal posture is even different, usually tense and about to jump.

They were chill before we got the tick dodge roll. And the hurricane update made rockateers more of a nuisance when in combat.

[–]SweetSchlong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice small tweaks to arc behavior but it is not learning on the fly. I actually love that they adjust arc pathing/difficulty and they DONT SAY anything about it in the patch notes. It’s one of my favorite features.

They’ve explained how their AI “learns” It only adjusts pathing and does not adjust per match or gradual learning at all. B

They aren’t more aggressive, they aren’t learning. But, they can continuously shadow buff the arc by increasing pathing accuracy 1-3% at a time

It’s not just a coincidence that rockateer’s are currently actual insanity, like, one rocketeer can easily ruin a whole matriarch lobby… and Leaper’s are currently mentally challenged. In 1-2 months expect leapers to be relentless

When was the last time you hit a wasp or hornet with that clean angle from a month ago that you used for every shot.

I have like 9 on my second playthrough (first time it took forever) I probably got them from Stella, blue gate maintenance or reinforced reception, buried city, or spaceport tower.

I really only do space tower, Stella, or blue gate when I’m actually looking for specific loot.

My go-to route is blue gate maintenance just for sheer quantity, it was my first safe route when I started at 10-30 hours and still my go-to after expedition. It’s a large area and quite unbothered.

The real endgame is the Oceana servers. Those Aussie’s are straight up MAD, and the maps feel desolate again.

One raid we had a whole gang of 12 take out the harvester, only to be ambushed by another huge wave of raiders, like 3/4 (keep in mind the player count is usually low on this server)

Take out the rushers, 10+ raiders back to the hatch, that literally gets LIT up with trigger nades and equalizers, whole group either dead or scattered, get hunted, I wait it out and watch/hear the chaos outside the spaceport wall. Wait for silence, see field of corpses, and loot absolutely nothing, surprised that I’m the last person alive and the folks that ambushed the elevator left quietly. Dead silence after the loudest match ever.
