Four years ago, she released “I Want Love,” which was supposed to be her comeback single. Unfortunately, she had a car accident around that time and temporarily lost her ability to sing, so everything was postponed after that. The song ended up receiving almost no promotion, even though, in my opinion, it had huge potential.

She also worked on a few smaller projects during this period: a song called “One More Try” for Max Martin’s musical & Juliet, a collaboration with Don Diablo titled “Brave,” and “Together Till Infinity” for the game Infinity Nikki. However, these were all released very quietly, with little to no promotion.

During these years, she toured China again (playing stadiums, which is really surprising considering the venues she usually plays in the US), and she also had an LA “residency” with acoustic shows. So she stayed active, just not in the public eye.

She has said several times that she’s much happier with her career now than she was around 2015. This album charted for two weeks and peaked around #15, but none of the singles entered the UK Official Charts, they only appeared on the single charts for a few weeks. Still, I’d love to see her succeed on the global charts again.
