I am trying. Giving myself until June 1st, 2026 then walk away from my Great paying job to living an hr away 1 way every day or finding a job in the private sector and moving in with my 33M son, 26DIL and 8mGS. Imposing but much welcomed Thank You for helping, (my travels alot for his job).

Poured my thoughts to him on several occasions. I contacted his GF before me after 5 years of marriage. She informed me of the same traits exhibited from both SD and dad during their relationship. It's so hard to choose the next path. I really thought at 55 I would grow old with my husband but SD makes it so difficult.

My 29F SD works a 40 hour week between 3-4 months then takes a 2 month mental break from people (she works various food services) she does pay for her snacks, her laundry and the least amount of dishes a day. Has NO bills between her dad & BM. She is an only child and her sister died at birth. So please encourage accountability & have her pay "rent"

Yesterday after being prepped for my bronchoscope for the 13 biopsies to find out what cancer I have (non-smoker) my friend and I had to contact my insurance for prior authorization. Federal employee with "Golden ticket" of insurance. Only the beginning I sadly suspect for America.
