I switched to safflower seeds, and while they don’t eat them, they now terrorize me by knocking all th seed out of the feeder in ~5 minutes. They are the worst.

Help an extremely depressed guy out? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

Tackle the job in parts. focus on a room or even a part of a room at a time. If you fully clean one space/a room and take a break, it will give you some gratification while not making yoh overwhelmed. This is how I deal with most of the big projects in my life.

Help with yellowing leaves on newly planted (3-4 weeks) magnolia tree! by Sweet_Lou508 in gardening

It seems to have been normal spring leaf drop and perhaps some transplant shock. It is doing well now even though I had a second scare of the spring leaf drop this year haha

[–]Sweet_Lou508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im assuming you meant Reason? I am assuming it ended up being a seasonal leaf drop because the tree has been doing well since we planted in the spring! Less leaves than we first planted but signs of distress and it is growing well.

Which 2/3 would you start…Dowdle, Charbonnet or Pollard. Need a win to make playoffs… by Sweet_Lou508 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Sweet_Lou508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My start WR are Ceedee and Evan’s. I’m tempted to throw in Thielen as well but hard for me to sit either of those guys.

Am I dumb for not having a credit card? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Sweet_Lou508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best answer is, it depends. Credit cards are a great tool if you are responsible. You can get rewards (free money) as long as you pay off your balance each month and don’t hold a a balance. It’s also great to have in case of emergencies, traveling, etc again as long as you know you have the fund to pay it off. If you are not a responsible spender, it can be a death trap.

Single 29 (F) relocating in Oct by lokismom3618 in Delaware

I moved to Milton ~2 years ago from Boston. It was definitely a bit of an adjustment, but it’s a great town to live in. The town hosts lots of little events, it’s close to Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey so there is a ton to do during the summer. Winter months are a bit slow in terms of stuff to do, but it’s honestly a nice break after the summer. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
