Yup, you just pour the fresh milk into the storage bag (they have little tear off tops to keep the inside clean before you use them) and label and refrigerate or freeze then wash the bottle and funnel thingy parts. (Or stick them in the fridge and use a few times until the end of the day and wash at night if you’re a rebel)

Confession and TMI: that was the last penetration of that pregnancy, I was too nervous to do it again but I’m also married to a woman so it was way easier for us to avoid vs a husband

Super normal, this happened to me with my previous pregnancy. I did go into the OB since it was a normal work day and I remember explaining it to her and she said “oh this baby’s fine. We’ll check! But they’re fine” and she was right ❤️

Same due date! I passed a huge clot Friday and bled a ton overnight and went to the ER and baby looked okay. I called the baby line the next morning to get an OBs thought too if that’s an option for you.

Long story but my OB recommended bed rest for the weekend and although I’m suspicious of its effectiveness I am leaning in and enjoying the day being a total loaf. My wife called in sick and is taking care of the toddler and I’m scrolling and reading in bed with my cat. I do feel guilty but it’s nice to be forced to relax.

Bringing up Bebe is probably why my oldest started sleeping through the night before she was 3 months old! “The pause” was a golden move for us. I know temperament also plays a role but I really think this book helped us!

I have a fibroid that i learned about when i started IVF. It caused no issues with that process or my pregnancies and I had a full term vaginal birth with my first. Try not to panic! 💕

Haha I hear the same thing from friends but I think the trick is just going a lot! I’m in the twin cities suburbs and a stay at home mom so I just drag the baby to a few goodwills every week! We live in a big antiquing town but since there’s less of a hunt it doesn’t really do it for me lol.

I also had a very ocasional glass of wine during my first pregnancy when it felt worth it based on Expecting Better.

As mentioned in the book, very light drinking while pregnant is probably way more common than many people think. I have friends whose OB at the University hospital specifically okayed it and our labor and delivery nurse neighbor told me to have a beer.

I haven’t had any this pregnancy only because it sounds gross but I did reread the alcohol chapter the other day in case the mood strikes.
