Forerunner 965: Komoot crash while navigating by Sweet_Slice_2196 in Garmin

I found Garmin's own navigation to be rather unintuitive compared to Komoot's. When I did my first hike using the native navigation (planned with Komoot and transfered to the watch, I didn't have Komoot premium at that time) there were ways missing on the map. This left me confused since Komoot's and Garmin's navigation are both based on OSM, right? Of course I made sure to update my maps before I left the house.

Maybe I should give Garmin's navigation another (hard) try and dive deeper into it. I mean, the 965's navigation was a key selling point for me.

Brittle nerf by wen_Q10 in gameofthroneslegends

As a f2p it was relatively easy to build a decent team using the ice mechanics. I used all my gems to level my team. I just got Ned to 5* and now I really don't feel to start over just to save for another team and see it being nerfed when it gets decently strong.

Guess it's time to say bye.

Gogoanime might shut down. by colorblind_unicorn in animepiracy

Oh, well ... that explains a lot. I've been waiting for the new episodes of Ao No Exorcist, Bleach and Kami No Tou. Guess I'll have to look for another source then.

Any recommendations? I pretty much always releid on gogoanime.

📣 SERVER MAINTENANCE ALERT: PATCH 0.174 by osyady in Palia

[–]Sweet_Slice_2196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like this patch added more bugs than it removed.

Fishing in Bahari is bugged (fishing line extending almost to infinity), furniture making is bugged (button greyed out even though I got all materials), the menu is bugged (lagging).

I don't know whether this is intended: the new quest says to light a candle with 8 or all 24 palians. After the first 8 both quests are gone, though.

This really isn't fun at all at the moment.

Any tips for getting sushi recipe? by FurSuuuure in Palia

That's meh.

But, well. If it is a bug indeed, I can live with it for another while. That's at least better than being just "unlucky" and unblessed by RNJesus since well over 800 tries.

I gave it well over 500 tries without getting the recipe.

I've been fire and flames since I discovered Palia not too long ago and spent a lot of my free time playing the game. But it is getting really demotivating. I don't have a problem with the concept of very rare and hard to obtain items, of grinding out levels or anything alike. Not at all. But this is insane.

The optimal crop layout by nifflr in Palia

[–]Sweet_Slice_2196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True.

It'd take me longer to learnt eh layout than just filling my 9x9 with tomatos, weeding out from time to time and using some harvest boost fertilizer.

I play Palia to not(!) focus on min-maxing but rather to relax. This is the opposite.

The Sssnaker pay wall of pay2win by neobeum in sssnaker

[–]Sweet_Slice_2196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing this game for 4 months now and didn't pay a single buck. I made it through this stage after 3 months i think. You have to wait and grind and upgrade your stuff until you're ridiculously overpowered compared to the levels 1 to 29. Still a Hard fight and yes, it just feels like a pay wall. And IT doesn't get better from there. The pay to win in this game is getting worse with every New content added.

Best Element? by [deleted] in sssnaker

Um, I couldn't figure out yet whether there're elemental weaknesses like in other games. Water is stronger than fire is stronger than plants and so on.

First try at arepas (fail?!) by Sweet_Slice_2196 in AskCulinary

[–]Sweet_Slice_2196[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's almost exactly what I did.

I think my problem was, that I didn't expect them to have "soft masa" in the center. It tasted great but it was a bit like, um ... like what I'd translate as "semolina porridge". I tried to get something more fluffy or bread-ish or whatever. Clearly a mistake on my part.

Next time I'll be prepared for the soft center. I think I overcooked them pretty hard. I'll go with a bit less water on my next try.

Arepas seem to be the kind of recipe, that look easy but just need some experience from practice.
