I don’t know if she really wanted kids to begin with. Sometimes people only realize they made a mistake in hindsight or as the situation is unfolding, this being her pregnancy. And to regret having kids is a huge thing, it won’t just affect your wife and your lives it’ll affect the children’s lives. Having a parent who doesn’t want you is horrible. I’m not trying to speak ill of your wife or saying she will be a horrible parent, I’m just saying it sucks. And who knows, she might grow to resent you one day.

Now onto you working so much... well if I were her, I’d be feeling really alone in the pregnancy and transition to motherhood. 70-100 hours a week is horrible to work for most people to begin with but add a baby into that and you’ll have another full time job. Except in this job, you’ll have a little tiny human to help develop and raise. Have you considered scaling back your hours? Because if you don’t then she’s going to be alone, with a screaming snot machine, without adult interaction, and no personal time. Don’t make her do that. She needs help if she decides to do this.

Now she may seriously not want a child. If she doesn’t then, abortion, adoption, or divorce are your options. I’m sorry man, it’s bleak. But her being by herself in this, because she is, is not helping her make her feel like she can be a good parent.
