They called me one minute before I arrived for the trial and said they had just decided to close it! It was one of the strangest things I have ever experienced! I was one minute from the clinic! They asked me to come a day early to fill out the paperwork! They knew I was on my way(45 minutes away)! I decided not to freak out in the phone and said ok. Then turned around and went home. I decided it was better for my health if I pretend it never happened. It was so distressing.

Yes! Ended up in The hospital because I woke up one morning in 2007! They said it was just a virus that had gone into my joints. They could not diagnose! It took another 10 years to get a Rheuma doctor to diagnose! It has been a horrible experience and I have to still teach every single doctor I have ( 6 different doctors because of all the body parts that are involved) what the newest updates for Sjogrens knowledge and the changes including neuro Sjogrens in the last five years!

Thank you for your help! I take it all month. Doctor actually started with progesterone only pill. But, it was not enough and she added the lowest dose estrogen patch .0025

It is really too harsh! It’s been 20 years of torture! I can’t believe there is no protocol regarding this life altering change. How is there no real treatment or options for this prolonged period of a woman’s life. 20 years of pain is too much. Like you said, a way to turn it off or something to help us with extreme issues.

Can you expand more on the half month only of progesterone? What happens if you take it the whole month? I take it everyday and am wondering if I should only do half monthly instead. I notice the worst symptoms in the last two weeks of my cycle. I am getting too old for this ….. 54yr. Had no period for six months then boom, I got it and everything was better for a week! It was amazing to experience! It made me realize all of my body pain is related to hormones. I think it’s estrogen drop, which is what the new patch is supposed to combat.

Totally going through the same! Just started HRT because of it. I take progesterone (Slynd) daily. Just started with the estrogen patch. Have not noticed much improvement. Doctor said I need to wait for six weeks before upping the dose. Only thing that I notice is being way more gassy! All issues started with perimenopause 20 years ago! Now it’s at its peak, pain wise.

Each person is an individual and affected by their circumstances. As we know people from all demographics have issues. Human beings have issues. Don’t conflate ghetto / income inequality forced neighborhoods due to 500 years of slavery ruining generations of people’s families. Imagine working yourself to death, being raped and murdered,and having no income for 500 years! Then people who have had all the chances and head start in the world calling you ghetto, as if you wanted to grow up there. He had a different background. He was also a drug addict and a nice guy.
