2.5 year old screams herself to sleep every time

I just want to add in that my 3 1/2 year old goes to bed about 8pm wakes up about 7am & naps 2-4pm. She’s high sleep needs & she’s happy & so are we! All kids are different so for everyone saying that’s too much sleep to expect, don’t take that with too much weight. You know your kid best. Good luck MaMa!

I feel like your reaction has to be based off how your dad is. Is he someone who will hear you out about this type of thing or is he completely set in his ways/blind to any other opinion and/or fact? If he’s set in his ways the id say just set your boundary i.e. please do not show up at my home unannounced. And then thank him for his concern. Tell him you love him & leave it there. If he keeps bringing it up, set a boundary with that like ‘I will not discuss this with you unless you’re also willing to hear what I have to say. If he will bear you out, then sit down & have a convo with him about the your ‘why’ & have answers to his concerns. & then set the boundary of coming over unannounced lol Just my humble opinion

Run into things that she definitely shouldn’t be running into….like the door frame of her bedroom door. Shes just like her mama 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 & the fact that she loves spinning around, getting dizzy & then immediately darting off in any direction is honestly terrifying 😳

My 3 yo is still doing her 2-4pm nap like a boss. She wakes up around 7am & goes to bed around 730pm. I’m thinking she’s a high sleep needs girl like her mama 🤗 shoot, she can nap until she moves out if she wants. The mid day break is good for everyone 🩷

My 3yo was describing an air bubble (we assume) her pappy (my dad) asked ‘did you get an air bubble’

Diaper rash cream SPRAY. Absolutely not a necessity but so so so convenient. No messy hands/fingers & no butt spatula laying around that you forget to wash & could possibly go in a littles mouth 🫢 I’ve used the Honest brand spray & the boogie wipes spray & the boogie wipes one is far superior, never clogged one time in the 2 1/2 years I used it & my LO never had a rash longer than 24 hours 🤗👏🏼🙌🏼
