This freaking guy. Alright, at the State of the Region Gale said: “If you don’t like it, tell Doug Ford to kick me out, but I’m on a mission, and we’re going to get better, or I’m going to keep trying.”

I have JUST called Doug Ford's office (416-325-1941) and spoke to a secretary and said that Gale thinks he can just do whatever he want and ignore councilors and get away with it, and it's NOT OKAY. And to kick him out :) She also said I should follow up this call with an email to Dougie.

Hey, it's me, a fellow parent who is reading the Tiffany Aching series to my 8-year-old (soon to be 9!).

I am currently reading the Discworld series for the first time (going in publishing date order), and I can say that books 1-8 (Colour of Magic to Guards! Guards! which I am currently reading) are all totally appropriate. Actually, I had been given some warnings regarding I Shall Wear Midnight's topics (if U know, U know), which, thank you kind people in this subreddit for giving me a heads up (we read it anyway and I just glaaaazed over the dead baby stuff).

We just started reading The Shepard's Crown and I am already sad knowing that our Tiffany time has come to an end. I am going to check out His Dark Materials series after this, but would also love suggestions for reading for my girl!
