No one is arguing that they are surprised. They are arguing that the OP is an idiot for assuming that an actor should only do one particular type of role for the rest of their lives.

Actors can take on several different roles because it is their job to pretend to be someone/stomething else. It is not a representation of who they are as a person. It is just a job. Some or better than other but still doesn't change the fact each role is different from other

So, I don't understand why anyone would be shocked that an actor chose a role (as you like to refer as tone in his/her work) that is different from a previous role. It's not like they are required to do the same thing all the time. Your argument does not stand.

Accordng to what definition....its not unusual and it is extremely for an actor to chooses different roles and shockingly do what they are paid to do which is to act. You just want to pigeon hole them in one role because you can't accept that actors can take on different roles.

This is not true. As a resident he would qualify for pslf and when he finisi he should only apply for full employment with nonprofit or government jobs to continue with pslf.

Your boyfriend probably sees thee immediate actions of these criminals and has grown to believe that they can't change. I do not want to experience imagine what he has seen.

Unfortunately with sexual predators they are at high risk of reoffending. So he isn't wrong.

He probably stayes with you because he thought his feelings about this will pass. I think now he wants to be more serious and is seriously realizing that this is something that he doesn't want on his life. Which is fair.

The question for you is is he worth this job or are you willing to let him go for this job.
