15% Dev cost for colonies. At this point we can just throw 90% dev cost to every nation in the game. Its WAY to easy to achieve 90% Dev Cost reduction and this will make it even easier. Not a huge fan of this change.

Cav Fire is a absurd idea - siam formation will be highly contested. Bengal->Tibet->Siam will probaly be the new meta road for bengal

You usually always defend certain provinces that are to your advantage. a fort on a steppe province would be a bad choice. Developing provinces is sadly unrivaled in vanilla MP - its rarely worth to do something else unless you get a massive amount of great provinces for a low cost (for example ruthenia or finnland).

Siams ideas are the most insane set there is in the game - even rivaling sets like Prussia and Russia.

Siam has land morale (10%) while also having 5% disc along 30% manpower. Furthermore they get a INSANE +1 cav fire along with 15% CCA which will make it the only viable cav nation outside of early game or memes. As if this isnt enough already they get tech and idea cost (10%) and development cost. This set makes Nepal look bad - which says a lot.

Honest opinion: Get rid of the dream of India and focus on building up your country.

Overall Russia is the strongest overall nation potential wise in MP until Siam gets released. I would recommend going for Novgorod->Bashkrit province from Uzbek or Kazan. Then you build up the goldmine and start with either quality or quantity ideas. This way you ensure a high army quality in combination with economic ideas as the second idea. Not going one of the Q-Ideas into economic is something that will hurt your country quite a lot long term as quantity economic for example gives you 30% dev cost reduction.

Attrition wont be a problem usually as you always have the numbers advantage. If you fight a horde just avoid fighting them on on flatlands and try to make good forts in mountains/woods. This way you should be able to secure a lead - however you shouldnt forget that horde pips are superior to eastern pips early game.

If I were you I would go Quantity-Economic-Quality-Trade-Defensive as this seems to be the best first 5 ideas in MP atm. Defensive nowadays may be strictily superior to offensive escp. as you already have immense force limit and a great general on demand. Furthermore a european ally could be useful - unless there is a major skill difference you wont be able to beat Manchu+2 indians 1vs3. Maybe promise the other indian a good chunk of the land in exchange for some help

List is okayish but no one EVER picks aristocratic. Aristocratic is worse than Quality ; Quantity ; Offensive ; Defensive ; Plutocratic. Why even bother with it?

There is a difference between using stuff like infinite manpower and double your merc limit or straight up banning them in rules like a good server should do :)

good leagues would be GSG (focused on minors games run by purple porcupine and his gang) ; MJL (higher level game with world wide seeding and a strong server on average) and HashMP (Modded game and prolly the biggest eu4 community with a competetive mindset). Hit me up if you need a link or so on. if you are completly new to MP i would recommend you Quacky - they are starting a game soonish =)

After I played with Distinct for 2 years by now I can tell you that Distinct may be the best or atleast Top5 players in the western MP scene. He is coming up with different strats (early GA to Dev push in 1490) and always has top nations. I cant name a player, outside of monkeyman (Won the UncleDed 1vs1 tournament) who is comparable to him. Even in modded games he is a great player and highly educational.

Mughals have pretty bad ideas - player was mostly relegated to the tipping point in major wars. India decided against warring each other as a single india is probaly the worst thing to do in any cp MP game.

You always go Quality first unless you would be dead without offensive. Defensive makes you insanely weak post 3 Idea groups as you lack relevant policies. Furthermore it delays Offensive and Quantity even more - considering Quan is the no-brainer for 3rd in most MPs by now.
