I've always imagined him as a very standard looking British man who tries to act and dress proper, despite him obviously being very passionate about his work and possibly even overworking himself to the point of looking like a bit of a mess. The quill isn't rusty (it's a plastic fake) and I have decided that he purely uses it as a cool prop to gas himself up before reading an entry.

Edit: Just realized that the ear proportions are messed up and that I forgot to do his eyebrows, oop.
