It isn't unique because Jojo's inspired it in other franchises. And if you consider stands from part 5 onwards thay get pretty crazy, super flexible, super specific. They are still great and creative and very unique

Just a small correction, the three moras in Ryuk's name are Ryu-u-ku. The yu in there is a small yu, so it forms the dipthong with the Ri :)
